I think I need help

I have been posting on the Dis for a short time and now that I just booked an unexpected trip Oct 29-Nov 3 I am addicted, I feel like I spend about 4 hours a day on here...lol I can not wait to go, I have not been since July 2003 and we were not scheduled to go agian until DEc 06. Does this happen to everyone or just me?

Can't speak for everyone else but I certainly seem to spend most of my time on here. I first found the DIS before my trip last year, when I was trying to keep up with the Hurricane news. Didn't really visit again until we booked for this year. However, I suspect that now we're booked already for Oct 06, I will be spending loads of time here.

I have been addicted for the better part of the summer while home on maternity leave. I am going to be in BIG trouble when I get back to work!!!

I don't think you are alone! I know for myself that these boards have not only made my trip planning so much easier but have help me cope with the waiting for the big day to arrive when we finally get on the plane to Disney! I went through such a depression when I knew we were not going to the world in 2005 so it was hard for me to read through the boards and get excited about everyone else's plans for their vacations but now since we are going back in March 2006 I am on these boards at least a couple hours a day, so don't worry, in my opinion this is one addiction that really isn't so bad! Enjoy your trip planning.

I get very addicted to these boards when I am trip planning. The closer I get the more I need to be here. Since my trip is getting close I can't seem to stay away. My DH thinks I am a freak!

Glad I'm not the only one. I can't wait till I get home from work to play on these boards. My DH at first kept teasing me that I had a boyfriend online. I said yes I am having a love affair with a mouse (ha ha)
Now my DH just laughs everytime he sees me on the computer (hours each night). He's just happy that since I've found this site i don't keep bugging him about every little detail.
The closer it gets to our trip, the longer I'm on the computer.

I've actually had to see a massage therapist to get uot the kinks in my neck and shoulders from all the Dising I've been doing for our kids 1st trip to the World. My DH and I honeymooned there in '94 but never thought to plan anything.To busy with wedding. Now that I've found this site, I've gone insane ! At least you are all here to help with my therapy !!!!

This place really does help to make the time go by faster. There's always a bunch of fun topics and a lot of useful information. I cannot live without these boards anymore. I don't want to either!

I pretty much am addicted too, Hubby can take it anymore!!! I was a member of another board but they treated very badly, I love this one It has wonderful info, and everyone here has been so nice Yes I have also been on here for HOURS!!!!!!!!!!I love everything Disney and can get very excited but my friends and family dont share my enthusiasm. You make my day so much brighter!!!!!!!

We discovered the DIS two years ago and pretty much only logged in for trip planning before we left.After our trip was over we never gave the DIS another thought. I feel so cheap and dirty using the DIS that way!

We would take and take and take-never giving back! This year we are different. Don't get me wrong- we still take! But out of all of our posts nearly all of them have been in the last couple of months - hopefully helping others planning their trips.

And this year we will maybe even do a trip report.

But I love every minute of it because I have learned so much and I am having a ball planning this trip
In fact I am having so much fun, that I am already starting to think about a Dec 2006 trip either at POR or POP, a Oct 2007 (belated anniversary trip) at POP or CBR and a June 2008 trip (DS will be 5!) at ASMo or POP....
