This may not be new but I think it's a good idea. I am always worried someone will lose thier ticket or fast pass. My kids hate to carry bags or fanny packs so I end up with everything. While at work yesterday, I found a pack of clear name tage badges with clips. It's the perfect size for the ticket(room key, what ever its called). I can clip them on the inside pocket of my bag and not have to dig for them . My kids can clip them to the inside of their short pocket also. It will also keep fast passes from getting wet.
Okay, is this a new tip?

it's new to me too! Plus it might help me with my bad habit of de-magnetizing the cards (my purse had a magnetic closure!) :rolleyes1

New to me, too. I have some of those badge holders and now know how I will use them. Thanks!

Just be careful, because several of those type of badge holders have opening on both ends, so very easy for a park pass or key to the kingdom to slip out.

Used them last year. It worked perfectly.

I attached two sleeves on to the clip and wore it on the belt for easy access. It made it a breeze to find both the resort id and the fastpasses without searching for anything.

I know Dollar Tree usually has the sleeves in packages of $10.

When I was at POP in the gift shop, i found a retractable clip(the clip was a mickey head) that also had a waterproof pouch on it that closes on the top. I believe it cost 5 and it held our passes and the room key.

I had previously used lanyards with the square plastic holder at the bottom; I never thought to use badges.

As another poster mentioned, just be sure that there are no openings anywhere. If there are, put tape or something to keep them closed to prevent items from falling out.

Thanks!

Yeah the larger clear name badge holders are good for holding lime green mickey heads too..... ;)

Lottery employee here. I wear a lanyard with a zip cord and my ID to access the building and have to scan my ID to enter my office. From my experience, the ID holders that are long instead of wide seem to keep your ID in place better. To be safe, I close the top of the vinyl with a Girl Scout Pin.

I never even thought of using it for my room key/DDP/Park pass.:thumbsup2

I have heard that the passes are very tempermental. Can you put it next to a credit card or is it better to keep it alone?

I think next to another credit card they would be ok. However cellphones can de-magnetize them so do not store them near your phone.

Game Boy Advance SP can demagnitize them as well...we found this out first hand on our last trip. :sad2:

great idea...i have a bunch of those at work too i think from past conferences and such, i will have to look now...thats a great tip!

What a brilliant idea!! Much better than digging through wallets, pockets, and backpacks. :) Thanks!

Last week, I was in Austin and my room key got demagnetized. The front desk said my cell phone was the culprit. Who knew? :confused3
