I think Disney should start enforcing end times on fastpasses

They also clearly state return between a designated start and end time on that date. Or there would be no discussion about using them after a certain time....

So, using your argument they should not be allowed anytime outside of the stated times. Or be allowed anytime after such stated time........

It is what it is. But, at least have the facts right. And for the Red herring it might have been exaggerated, but even 100 people showing up late with Fps for a time slot would greatly increase the wait time.

Yes, there is clearly a return time printed on the front of the FP. You don't need to tell me that since I have pictures of FPs on my web page. I also have a picture of the back of the Fastpass. In the language on the back, it explicitly states that you can't use it early ("Cannot accept early arrivals") and can only use it that day ("Valid only on date printed"). You know what it doesn't say? Anything about not being able to use it after the time printed. It does, however, say "Please..."

It allows Disney flexibility. Their policy is to accept them late by default. That is why I used the word "explicitly".

but even 100 people showing up late with Fps for a time slot would greatly increase the wait time.

Wrong for at least two reasons I can think of

1) Those 100 people reserved their spot. They were "in line." By definition, they can't increase your wait time -- they were there first.

2) Most rides load 100 people in 2.5 - 4 minutes. If they stopped the standby line entirely to let all 100 Fastpass arrivals in, the standby wait would increase by 2.5-4 minutes. If that's how you define "greatly increase," then I bet you think Pop Tarts take too long to cook in the microwave.

But in any case, that's moot -- see #1.

and end time if it is not going to be enforced? Save the ink and save some extra $$$ imagine the cost savings over time.

Next question is if it doesn't hurt things to allow people to use them anytime after their time, why not allow everyone to use them any day after their time?

According to the explanations I read it shouldn't matter when you use them after your set start time.

I wish they would enforce the times as why bother having rules and restriction if they are not to be followed. If you want to push things then Disney should overlook a lot of their other rules they have in place too.

Just one's opinion.
Try reading Post #165 and #167, both of those quotes explain it pretty well.

Then people will be pulling fastpasses today for use tomorrow and the fastpasses would be sold out before I can get one for today.
