We will be staying at BWV for the very first time in Oct. for F & W and I simply cannot wait! It's one of the few resorts we haven't experienced and we have always loved the Epcot area and how easy it is to walk and boat. As much as I love all the other resorts, I know BWV is going to make us fall in in love AGAIN.

It's so convenient to EPCOT and HS and after owning for almost 11 years we just found out another neat "perk" on staying an EPCOT resort... you can walk to Dolphin resort and eat there!
Seriously, when everything is full at Disney resorts (Beaches & Cream was over 1.5hr wait), we just walked to Dolphin to the Fountain and was seated immediately (DVC members get 20% off). I won't go there for the ice cream but the food was good.
DH and I will be at BWV next February for our anniversary.
A studio should be enough for just the 2 of us, right?
Any other suggestions or tips for an adults-only stay at BWV?
(I feel so guilty leaving the kids at home!)
Studio would be just fine for the 2 of you.
We did studios mostly until DD came and were just perfectly fine.
My only suggestion would be to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere on the boardwalk. It's really nice to stay out and sit on the benches at night when the weather finally cooled down. Although you'll be there in Feb, so it'll probably get a bit chilly at night.
Boardwalk bakery has a pretty good food selections but there's no regular counterservice locations unless you count the hotdog/burger/fries kiosk that opens at night on the boardwalk. So if you count on eating some CS on the resort for lunch I would suggest geting it somewhere else (EPCOT).
And realize that there are 5 bus stops between BW and AK, and 3 stops between BW and MK.
Honestly we were there for 9 days and never have any problem with the bus wait times. I guess I was pixie dusted this time around.
Don't feel guilty! And have a blast!
It is by far, my family's favorite WDW resort!
