put my Christmas tree up yet. My kids think I've lost my mind or something. I usually have it up by now. Tell me I'm not the only one that is treeless right now. If I am the only one, I might agree with my kids.

You are certainly not alone browneyes! Actually I don't know anyone who has theirs up yet. We might put ours up next weekend but if not, certainly by the weekend after that. At least a week before Christmas. It'll come down after New Years day though thanks to a superstition thread posted here last year about taking the tree down before Jan 1 can cause pregnancy!

Marion, I hadn't heard that superstition! I might just leave my tree up year round! LOL! I normally take mine down December 26th (it's my bday present to myself the 26th is my bday). We usually put ours up on Thanksgiving. My kids are confused-Thanksgiving has passed and the tree still isn't up.

We might not put our up at all this year We will be at WDW until the 21st home on the 22nd, so I am not sure when there will be time. I have been busy all day today cleaning and packing etc. And then I have to work Tomorrow through Thursday afternoon when we leave. So we may be going treeless this year

There'd be no one here to water it!!!

With the dry heat we have in the house, it we put it up now, it would be a fire hazard by Christmas morning!
