I really screwed this up! I accidentally brought home my tip (with extra cash tucked inside the envelope home!!!!
I was on the Wish in September and went on a different Cruise line and found it in my cruise supplies.
How do I get it to Nicole? I plan to call guest services tomorrow but trust this board to help me ask the right questions when I call them. I don’t want them to use it for a party or divided up if she’s no longer there.
I am assuming that they gave her the paper slip with the initial tip that I prepaid. That sounds logical to me, but that may not be the way it happens.
I can’t remember what I put in the envelope. I know I doubled or tripled the original tip. And I’m sure I’ll double that for the delay that I’ve caused.
Please be kind in your responses. I’m platinum and have no idea how this got back in my luggage.

Maybe it was Stitch, or Chip and Dale, who moved your envelope where you didn't see it.

Nicole definitely got the tip that you prepaid -- any tips that are paid through Guest Services or through prepayments are sent digitally to cast members' onboard accounts whether or not you give them a tip envelope. So you needn't worry that she thought you failed to tip her.

As far as how to get the additional amount to Nicole, my best guess is to call Disney Cruise Line and say something like "I want to provide an extra gratuity to a cast member who was on the Wish in September. How can I do that?" and see what they say.

I’ll try that. I have had people mention years ago that they needed the slip to claim the funds. Seemed like things could get lost with that sort of system. Glad it’s not as I expected. Thank you.

She definitely got your tip if you left things just as there were- didn't go to guest services and remove them for some reason etc. The envelope is just a formality or if you put extra in it then, it is your tip and the extra. See what they can do to help if you call in
