tonight. I got to see the wishes fireworks for the last 8 or 9 nights from my house but tonight I got to see them from Main Street USA. I got to see Julie Andrews introduce them. and see Tinker Bell all lit up fly from the castle to Never Never Land.

It was truly magnificent,

Just another reason to look forward to my next trip to the World! :hyper:

Webmaster John...great photos...where were you located? Pintrader...where did you watch from? Trying to scope out a good place to be.

Of course...any place in the World is a good place to be! :lovestruc

Pintrader I never get to see Tinkerbell. I ope to on my next trip.

webmaster John great pictures. I love the castle. You picked a great spot for the pictures.::yes::

Wish I could take credit for those awesome pictures but I can't - that goes to WebmasterPete and WebmasterCorey. I got to just enjoy the party - they had to work ;)

After Dame Julie Andrews introduced the fireworks Disney Cast Members ushered us all down mainstreet as this was supposed to be the best place to view the fireworks. At first I thought 'yeah - right, I'm hanging out but Walt's statue' - but I dis what they asked and we stood almost halfway down on mainstreet.

Boy, were they right - these new fireworks are awesome - and to get the full effect, mainstreet is the best spot to watch!!!

I love the firework pics! PLEASE tell me what camera, settings you used to get these. Am I right in assumming that you used a tripod?

Thanks!

How do these fireworks differ from Fantasy in the Sky?

John:
I was your photo team in the center of Main Street on a tripod between the castle and the ice cream shop? I talked to three or four photo and one Japanese video teams there.

Yes i did scope things out. I preceeded the band from the castle to the flagpole. Then as Julie Andrews made her announcement I began back up to the top of main street. As I walked from the bottome of Main Stereet (the flagpole) the the top. I croseed from the left to the right and wlked down the center.
There was no bad area. EVERYONE was in Main Street, Crystal Palace, the Plaza Pavilion. There wasn't a bad seat (spot). Dads don't have to put little ones on their shoulders the fireworks are low and wide.

How are these different? Who wants to spoil the surprise? But I'll give you just a hint. The show is called "WISHES" and the show begins with two sets of fireworks that burst into Big blue stars and as the star expand hugh white flashes explode out of the center of them.

I have to say they were JUST firework the last 8- or 9 nights that I watched and had nothing to hear, but the script really brings them together to make a firework storybook.

I was watching the video and I got goosebumps and tears came to my eyes. I turned it off though---I don't want to spoil it before we get to see it for real in June:hyper:

Does anyone happen to know if the new fireworks show will be displayed during MNSSHP nights? We will be there on the 16th and I am hopeful that we will see them that night and have our second night free for Illuminations.

Can't wait to see this in Nov. One question, when does Tinkerbell fly during the show. This is a must see for my 4 year old DD and nieces.
Thanks for the phots and reviews!!!

Those are amazing shots!!! Thanks for putting that link up for us WMJohn! And thanks all, for hte reviews!!! I can't wait to see these in December... they look beautiful :)

pintrader-

You are so fortunate to have an apartment right behind MK. I don't want to be nosy, but is it on Disney property or what?

Great pictures everyone. I'd also like to know if Wishes will be performed during MVMCP or just when the park closes to everyone else.

Pintrader- In your opinion- do you think a Fireworks Cruise would be worthwhile- or would you miss so much of the "show" that it would be better to fight the crowds on main street- Thanks- Jill

There is a special pyrotechnics production for MNSSHP. I didn't know this until just last night but I got a chance to visit with the guy sho puts the whole productions together. He encouraged me to look out my window on a MNSSHP and determine what I think of them. So guess what I'm doing tomorrow night:sunny:

sk, I don't consider your curiosity nosey at all. I live jsut across the street from Disney's Northernmost property line.

na, others may have an opinion but would you ask the question again soon and I will make it a point to look into that for you. I will definately have an opinion next time I am asked.

Tink
Tinker Bell flies just at the show opens. She is quite lit with her wings all aglow so it is hard to miss her in this performance.

Does Tink fly from the same spot she did before? It almost looks like you need to be a bit further away to see all aspects of this show. BUT..if you are too far away you wont see Tink.
Hmmmm..suggestions anyone????
Where is the best place to see ALL aspects of the show???

I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!
6 days!!!:hyper: :hyper:

Would love to see a video of the complete WISHES fireworks! Anyone know were to find one?
THANKS!!

To seeing this new display on our December trip.:wizard: :goodvibes ::yes::
