I saw Princesses in a strange place at Epcot

This has probably been covered here before, but I just had to write about it because I felt like I stumbled onto a big secret! On two different days, coming into Epcot the "back" way, from the Boardwalk pathway, we saw Princess Aurora and Cinderella just coming out together to sign autos and take photos! They completely stunned me! They came out right by that gift shop that is right by the entry gates, before you walk up the hill to the bridge. I saw Aurora first, walking ahead of me, and just about that time Cinderella came out, too. She looked at me in that very princess-like way and said a gentle "hello." Man, oh man, those girls can really pull it off. I am 38 years old, and I still felt like I was truly in the presence of royalty. Maybe part of it was the total surprise at seeing them there, because I'd never heard they hang out there.

That's a new one for me too. We were just there in Oct. staying at the Boardwalk and walked into Epcot VIA that entrance several times but never saw the Princesses. What a cool surprise for you all!

We thought they were there by mistake for some other reason but the shop staff said they are there fairly often. You just never know!

Maybe they are on their way to/from the princess breakfast in Norway???

I know Aurora has been appearing there regularly for the last few months now, but I didn't know about Cinderella. I wonder if she was just a random character there or if she's always there now. I'll definatly be keeping an eye out for both of them when I'm at EPCOT this month. Hopefully they'll be there. What a great picture that makes of the two of them together!

We saw them at the same place--just inside the International Gateway--this summer. It was Aurora, Snow White, and Mulan. No crowd, either. It was great.

My guess is if they were there for the Princess B-fast they would be entering the park the back way of Norway and not walking all the way around WS. Hope we run into them on our trip in less then two weeks!!

I'm guessing Cinderella, is she's out, has the same schedule.

This happened to us in October as we were leaving to catch the boat back to the Dolphin and all of the sudden right ahead of us are walking Snow White and Aurora - of course my DD ran for them and had them to herself for a few minutes. Slowly but surely, people around us caught on and there was a very small line - but it is a beautiful setting and unless you are back there for some specific reason, there really should never be too many people.

as part of the Princess Breakfast. One, Norway is totally across the lake from the International Gate (leading toward the boat dock) and secound, they are seen in the afternoon. Maybe this is an effort to add some "life" to that section of Epcot?

Definately not there as part of the Princess Breakfast, as we saw Aurora there about two in the afternoon on October 11th - and again a few days later, also in the afternoon. Didn't see anyone else though.

Not part of the princess breakfast as Cinderella does not do the breakfast at Norway, only at her castle. This is cool though as DDs don't want to do the breakfasts as it interferes with RnRC time, but just to happenstance upon Mom's favorite princesses....

We saw Aurora the first weekend of October. We thought she was a guest in costume from MNSSHP! The next day at Cape May Cafe, we asked one of the greeters for the characters there about it. She said that was an old character location and that they may be "retrying it out" So, it seems they are experimenting with different ideas/experiences.
