Today I just received the mysterious "packet" I've heard that concierge sends out to arriving guests about 90 days before arrival. Well, I'm not arriving for another 8 months!
I think this happened because I recently e-mailed AKL just to say I was so excited about my upcoming trip and looking forward to the best vacation ever.
So I guess they had pity on me, and sent me the packet way early so that I'll have something solid in my hands instead of just daydreams.
Anyway, it was a large envelope with an AKL map; a check-off list with all the animals to be seen with info about the animals; a special PS paper with options like babysitting and transportation; they asked the names and ages of my family; there was a list of requestable items for the minibar/fridge with prices (why would I pay for a $2.25 can of coke from the minibar when I can get it free from the lounge??); a color brochure of restaurants around WDW to help make PSs; and a brochure of AKL, describing all the amenities.
Anyway, it was nice of them to go along with my premature excitement by unexpectedly sending me the packet so early.
