has any one buy a i pod in the states looking on the web they are a lot cheaper other there question will they work over here

Yes, they will work. Im getting one when we go next week. I have heard Super Target is the cheapest (if they have any in stock). Just dont know which one to get....with the $$$ so weak Im tempted with the 60GB ipod Photo .

Yes, we have bought a couple of Mini IPods in FL. My DH found that Best Buy were offering the best deal at the time. He took out a extra 2 year warranty on them and bought a few accessories and they were still cheaper than they are here.
The work fine here in the UK, no problems.

I pods work fine. Try the Apple store at Mall Of Millenia just off I 4 and International Drive.

We got mini ipods from the ipod store at mall of Millenia and they have all the add ons too! We did not buy the universal adapter just went to Walmart and got a US to europe adapter for $6 and it works fine!!

the Apple shop in Mall of Millenia was deffiantley the cheapest, all the electrical stores were selling the mini ipod for $279 to $299 and apple were selling it for $249 (all were plus sales tax) the apple store also had all of the add ons for the ipod.

We went to the Premium outlets Bose store and i got the sound dock for my birthday from DH - the sound from it is AMAZING!! and it was £50 cheaper than the UK!!!! wowee! So now my ipod's tunes are not confined to just earphones! Yey!

Thanks for that - I shall have to go and have a look. I made the mistake of buying my iPod over here and it didn't come with much extra. I might have to get a sound dock

I got my mini ipod over here (HMV used £10 discount voucher in their XMas catalogue and got it for £169). I couldn't wait until Jan....

However, can I buy accessories for it in the states? Will a US sounddock work with my UK ipod?
