Just got my new toy.. an Iphone!!! I'm quicly falling in love with it..

I've seen a few apps for it for Disney.. but I was wondering if any fellow Iphone lovers out there had any real good Dis apps that they would like to tell us about?

My two favorites are WDW Dining and WDW Wait Times. Both are made by the same folks, the Dining is .99 and the Wait Times is free. I know they are great for trips, but I love checking them each day when I need a fix!

Hiya coach! I have 3 Apps installed at the moment.

1 is WDW Wait times. Its user interaction for wait times for attractions. People keep the ride times up to date using this app.
2. I have WDW secrets which is an app telling me secrets about the Magic Kingdom.
3. The other one is UpinPoint Park Map. I only have MK installed and its .99 each. Its a park map of the MK which gives you park hours and parade and show times.

I'd second the upinpoint.com apps (do a search for upinpoint.com). The "box set" comes with all of the parks plus DTD. What I like about it is that you tap the GPS icon and it shows you where you are in the park on the map. Helpful in finding a bathroom for a 6-year old doing the wiggle dance.

I like the Wait Watchers series of apps. There's one for each Disney park (FL & CA) and the Universal parks (FL & CA) and they are free. They have a clean interface and include user submitted wait times plus start times for parades and shows.

As this isn't a DVC related topic, I'm moving this thread to the Community Board.

I enjoy the upinpoint park maps. When you click on an attraction you can follow a link to either wikipedia or allears. I had an issue with the app at one point and the developer was extremely responsive, which I liked. The swan and dolphin also have their own iphone app as well.

Wow! Thanks for all the responses! I'll be checking into all those apps!!!

Does anyone have any blackberry apps?

I really wish the ride times one was on BlackBerry. I look at the app on my iPod Touch at home but it will be useless in the parks. The guy who developed the app is on the DIS and I mentioned to him that there are more BlackBerrys in the world than iPhones, but he said the software was harder to develop. :(

The best I can do is look at the wait times the week before to get an idea of what we are in for.

I wonder how accurate the wait time app really is? Anyone have any experience??

I have the dining one. It was great this past trip. I know what most of the places have, but my brother doesn't. (For QS) So I was able to show him my iTouch and say, I'm thinking of this place or this place, which one looks better to you? And he was able to just look at the menus there instead of walking all over creation.

the dining one sounds cool. do i just type in wdw dining on itunes to find it? what is the specific name of the app?

Should come up like that.

The wait time app does seem like it is constantly updated. Of course I don't know how accurate it is since I am not there. All I know is I would never go there in the summer from what I have been seeing. :)

LOL well just go there with realistic expectations...

The dining app may be one to check out as well.. that would be convenient for my son.. he can be a picky eater...
