I order the DVD but it never arrives

Is it just me, or has anyone else repeatedly ordered the DVD on the DCL web site, but never receive it in the mail? I have requested it twice and never gotten it.

I don't think its a new issue. A few years ago I ordered one four times that never came. I then called DCL and explained it was for Christmas as I was taking my family on a cruise and was told they would mail it right out. Never came. I called back a month or so later and requested again. I finally got one, not sure from which request but it did finally come.
Keep trying I guess.

Thanks. Good to know it isn't just me. I'm not sure what's so difficult about shipping a DVD.

This happened to me twice as well.

Let me ask you this, Squirk and tinkerone, had you both already booked your cruise BEFORE you requested the DVD? I had. I think maybe they didn't send it to me because they could see I was already booked on the cruise and perhaps the DVDs are only for prospective customers.

I never did get the DVD, but I didn't call them up and press the point, either.
 
I requested one recently and it came about two weeks later. I had already booked my cruise when I requested it and they still sent me one.

Yes, I had already booked for three cabins. I did ask the first customer service person I interacted with if that could be the issue and they said no, that would not be a reason for not sending it out.

Yes, it seems like I always have a cruise booked, and I too was wondering if that was the problem.

Is It Live or is it Memorex.

We like to pop it in and hit "Play All" on leisurely weekend mornings when we have an imminent trip. Kids also like to watch it in the car en route to PC.

I know they have pieces-parts videos on the website that, in total, are about the same thing as the DVD. But it's not the same as watching it on the big TV in the living room.

Exactly. I know we had already decided to go, but I figured it would be a good way to get the family in the mood, and hey it was free, so I figured I'd just sign up and they'd send me one. Easy.

Not so much.

Not a big deal though. We enjoyed the trip anyway. Just weird that so many people wouldn't get the DVDs they asked for.
