I spent HOURS today installing those games for my DD!! 
After I ran system restore a few weeks ago, I told the kids I would install their games as they wanted to play them. Sounded easy enough. Well, I thought wrong!!
I installed Sims Deluxe yesterday, then the expansion pack of Superstar. When my DD tried to play, all the graphics were messed up and the game kept freezing. I thought maybe the it didn't install properly so I unistalled it, spent a hour reinstalling the 2 games..........still had messed up graphics! I called up their tech support people....turned out that even though I had uninstalled, I had to do a "sims eraser" that is loaded in the program.......and erased all the games............need to reinstall again.........BUT.............there is an order that you need to install these and since she had other games aside from the deluxe edition and superstar, they needed to be installed BEFORE Superstar.............OK............now I have 4 games to install instead of 2..........spent 2 hours installing the first 3 games...........got back down to Superstar and got this error message that I needed to install a "hotfix" from windows in order to get the *&#@ game to work! Go to windows, find this stupid update............install it.............install Superstar.............now I get another $#@% error message asking me if I want to UNINSTALL this blasted game!!! 
I hadn't yet installed the idiotic thing!!!! Another call to tech support..............more time with them creating a different 'path' for it to install from (?????) HOPEFULLY there will be no more problems..............if you hear a news report of strange circular silver flying objects over the state of Pa., don't panic. I would of just had a nervous breakdown and I am standing on my roof flinging these things into the night sky!! :space: No need to panic. Just call the Funny Farm!
