I don't know how many of you remember this past summer when I posted that our DD, Ann, 19 years old, had a small lump in her breast. Well, at that time, she saw a surgeon and his advice at that time was NOT to take it out. He said that he felt confident that it was not malignant. At that time he told her to come back in 3 months.
We made an appointment for her for fall break from school. The Dr. had to cancel the appointment. So we rescheduled for when she would be home for Thanksgiving. When she went, he told her that he now wanted to remove the lump. He said that it would make him feel better, Ann feel better, and Ann's gyne feel better. He also said that he felt a number other very small lumps as well.
So tomorrow at 7:30 am, Ann will be getting her lump (described as the size of a pencil eraser) removed. Of course then it will be sent to be biopsied. I feel confident that everything will be "OK" - but I can't help but be a little scared. Guess I would not be human if I were not scared - just a little.
So again, I ask you for your positive thoughts and/or prayers that all goes well and turns out "OK" for Ann.
Thank you so much.
