We are home from the hospital now. Ann is very alert and not in much pain. The surgeon said that it was a "benign fibroidanoma" - guess that means an abnormal fibroid that will not hurt you. But I am breathing easier. I only expect to hear the best.
She will get the results from pathology in about 5 days and will go back to see the surgeon before she goes back to school next weekend.
Thank you so much, once again, for thinking and praying for Ann. It means so very much to me - and to her too, of course!
I'm sorry I missed this post yesterday, but since I'm too late to offer P&PD for the procedure, I'll say good news that things went well, and offer P&PD that it does indeed to turn out to be nothing.
