Why is it that when men cook they always use every pot, pan, utensil etc in sight....they also make such a mess on every single inch of workspace...leave bits of food in the sink....need I continue? :headache:

My DH very kindly decided to cook dinner for me tonight...not only did he do all of the above list and leave it for me to clear up but he also didn't close the freezer door properly! So everything in the freezer (which was full) is now ruined...

Is there a 'throttle someone' smilie?

on the eve of any wedding,a male is taken aside on his stag doo, and told to do what you have said.then he will never have to cook or wash up again:)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Now I know for sure...I have always thought that was the case! :lmao:

Do they also teach you to leave your shoes, socks, pants etc all over the floor next to the washing basket?

;)

oh dear,at least you enjoyed the dinner:goodvibes

Oh-he has been a bad boy. What did you have anyway?.x.

Chilli...but judging by the state of the kitchen you would think he had cooked a three course meal for the entire street! :rotfl2:

Perhaps I'm the exception that proves the rule, but it's the other way round in our household.

Now I will agree that Tam cooks a whole lot more than I do, but when she's on a roll there's pots and pans flying in all directions with food stuck to every available surface. I went to get a can of beer one day and came out dressed as a lasagne. :rotfl2:
I like to cook in a clean environmnet and tend to wash up as I go along.

You must be one of a kind Kev. ;)

You are so lucky he cooks my DH hasn't got a clue:lmao: i would put up with the mess just to have a nice meal cooked for me once in a while.

At least you enjoyed it:rotfl: , I wish my DH would cook for us, he wouldnt know where to start in the kitchen, but he can do a good barbecue:thumbsup2

DH is actually quite a good cook and tidy too. Shame he does it so infrequently.

Glad you enjoyed the meal:thumbsup2

Now I know why you didin't eat the ice cream :rotfl:

My DH is lovely he cooks, cleans (occasionally) and is my best friend in every way. However he seems to have some in built gene that means that he will leave his dirty clothes on the bedroom floor instead of the laundry bin just after I've cleaned up, decide that he really does need to have 3 tshirts on the go at once and that one should live downstairs and one on the floor upstairs whilst he's not wearing them. I could go on :scared1: I wouldn't be without him though

:lmao: I know what you mean Em, apart from my DH is socks not Tshirts! But I wouldn't be without him either but lets just say it's not the first time he has 'accidently' defrosted the freezer!

I was slightly unfair to him yesterday as he did a huge pile of ironing for me on Monday.....I know I am lucky. :lovestruc
