I Need the Basics About Pal Mickey....

I have a bit of an idea on what they are - but I'm not entirely clear on it. Could someone tell me what's so appealing about them? Are they fun for 4 year olds? Sorry, I know this has probally been asked a bunch of times - but I just read about it yesterday Thanks!

We loved our Pal Mickey and my children are 11 & 16! He is a small plush with a battery-pack and is activated when you enter the parks. He "knows" exactly where you are and shares all types of info., jokes and suggestions. He comes with a clip to attach to your belt and he vibrates when he wants to tell you something. My DH carried our Pal Mickey and it was cute to see how much he enjoyed it!

i suggest you go down to the bottom of the page and search the forum for pal mickey. I have read most of the posts and they always have something different to say. By looking thru all the past posts you will come up with a more complete picture. The search at the bottom is great for finding something you remember reading and can't find again. i plan on buying one for my kids on our trip. good luck in your search.

How much are Pal Mickeys? I think I read on previous post that you can rent Pal Mickey. Which is best? What will Pal Mickey do when you are at home and not in parks?

Pal Mickey can be rented for $8 per day (with a refundable $50 credit card deposit). His purchase price is $50. If you rent him and then decided you want to keep him, they will keep your deposit less whatever rental charges you have already spent.
When not in the parks, Mickey plays 3 games and tells all kinds of corny jokes.

At Magic Kingdom, you can find Pal Mickey at Newsstand and Main St. Cinema. At Epcot, he's available near the locker rental area, and at the Disney-MGM Studios he can be found at The Darkroom, Golden Age Souvenirs, and Legends of Hollywood. I don't have the information on Animal Kingdom locations, but if I had to guess, I'd say he's probably avaliable near the lockers and at one of the shops on Discovery Island (Island Mercantile or Creature Comforts).
