Hello fellow Budget Boarders! :wave2: :goodvibes

I have 2 amazon.com gift certificates for a total of $25. I've been trying to think of some things that I can use these for to buy for our trip, but I am coming up blank. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can buy for our trip to WDW in December with these GCs? Thanks so much! :goodvibes

How about Disney soundtracks or books for the trip?

Someone also mentioned a Buy 1 Get 1 special for board games (some of them Disney ones)......

Hope this helps!
Wendy

Do you already have the current Unofficial, Birnbaum's or Passporter guide books for WDW?

Disney audio CD or DVD videos for portable players.

I do have the current guidebooks minus the UG 2006 (getting it from the library first) and we have several CDs and tapes for our Disney trip. Maybe I will look into DVDs since we have a portable DVD player. Thanks! :goodvibes

Hi Pumpkinfish...I don't know if you remember, but we met in the lobby at Philharmagic in April. Hope you are well.

As far as the $50 Amazon gift certs, why don't you just sell them on Ebay? The fees that you will incur will probably equal the shipping on Amazon. So, you'd end up with the cash to take along on your trip instead of something that you weren't intending on buying. OR, you can find that website where you can "trade" gift certs for a very small fee...maybe you can trade for one to the Rainforest Cafe or another restaurant in the area where you will be eating? Or, you could trade for a gift card to a chain hotel if you're staying offsite? I can't remember the name of it right now but I'm sure a google search would pull it up.

The Walt Disney Wold Trivia book is a great way to pass the time on the trip to WDW and at the room in the evenings. We have even taken ours with us to the parks to pass time in lines.

Hidden Mickeys is pocket sized so you can carry it to the parks.

Both the DWT book and the Hidden Mickeys book qualify for super saver free shipping ::yes::

(I always look for this when shopping on Amazon. ;) )

Enjoy!

PS... The Birnbaum's guide also has super saver shipping and comes in a kids addition as well. We had both and enjoyed them very much. ::yes::
