I need some hair advice how to control it!

I was born with naturally curly hair. Over the years, especially the teenage years, I've pretty much killed it. Its still got a lot of curl but it has absolutely no control. I usually use a straight iron and straighten it but still it has no control.

If I went and had a body wave put in it would it help with control? I just want it to look decent 2 hours after I've fixed it which it never does.

I was thinking about a large curl perm and just wear it like that but I would rather it stay long and straighter with just some control.

I want it to look the way it did when I fixed it once I've been out and about for a few hours.

What do you suggest

You could then buy a wig from the Dolly Parton collection....or maybe Barbara Mandrell's wig line!

Personally, I'd go with Cher's wig line. Imagine the possibilities!

I have friends who swear by Paul Mitchell's heat seal. Put in on, dry your hair (curly or straight) and they say it will withstand anything but total rain!

I was born with the exact same kind of hair and have threatened to do this MANY MANY times! One day DH is going to wake up next to a Sinead O'Conner look-alike

You may find that a shorter hairstyle will rejuvenate the curl. Once my hair gets a little long it's out of control, but a trim springs it back to life. My stylist uses Curls Rock by Tigi/Catwalk. I finally broke down and bought a bottle for home and I love the results.

I have fairly long naturally curly hair. Forget about trying to control it, just let it do it's thing with some help. I use Catwalk Curls Rock leave in moisturizer and Curl Amplifier. It gives me nice even curls without frizz. Just work it in and brush through with your fingers. I also never, never blow dry unless it's for less than a minute and I never use a brush or comb, just my fingers! The brand is Tigi and it's not that expensive, which is nice. My hair looks great straightened but why take over an hour on my hair when I can have it natural in less than 5 minutes??
