Hi everyone!
We arrive at Disney World late Saturday, Dec. 7. We have MVMCP tickets Sunday, December 8. We have no plans Monday, December 9th but are trying to visit two parks that day. So I plan to buy one day park hoppers. Then we go home Tuesday. This is a very quick trip! We've been to Disney before so our goals for this trip are riding some must-dos and experiencing Disney in the holidays :)

Sunday, Dec 8 - line up for the Christmas party around 3:30PM with hopes of getting in around 4PM. We have a 4:30 BBB reservation, and one at 5PM. I need to drop one. Any reason to go at either time? Thinking about dropping the 4:30 so we have more flexibility. Maybe we can fit in one ride before going in. Thoughts?

The party is our only time at Magic Kingdom unless we go back Sunday. Is it reasonable to hope to ride Tron, Tiana, 7dwarfs during the party? Thunder Mountain and Space would be a bonus!!

Monday, Dec 9 - We will go back to MK if we don't get all of our must dos done at the party. If not, we'd like to go to HS in the morning and Epcot in the evening. How does that work with multipass? Should I go ahead and buy multipass in advance and plan like we are going to HS? Also buy a lightning lane for Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot? If we do go back to MK we will have to skip HS. I'm just not sure how to plan ahead since I'm just not sure how much we will get done at MK during the party. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Either option will work for BBB and yes 5 PM provides you a little extra flexibility.

Yes if you plan to focus on the rides vs the numerous Character Meet & Greet, Parade, and other activities. Lines will often be heavy from 4 - 7:30 PM as the day guests are leaving and the Party guests back-fill the ride queues. Are you planning to eat QS, TS, or just snacks and treats? I would suggest you get a good lunch and then you will not need to burn valuable time eating Dinner.

Are you an on-site guests and could you hit EE at MK to HS to start your day and focus on reserving your LLMP and/or LLSP at Epcot and HS?

Make your 3 initial LLMP selections at HS and then a LLSP for GotG at Epcot and maybe a RotR LLSP if your group is interested. This way you will be able to use your LLMP additional selections for Epcot in the evening since you plan to have Hoppers.

Just make sure to make your First LLMP for as early as possible at HS to unlock the Multi Park function so you can make additional selections at Epcot quickly.

Wow! Thanks for the advice.

As far as the party goes, we are planning on doing parades/shows and rides. We aren't huge on meet and greets. Do you think that's doable? Planning on eating a big lunch around 2 then just snacks and treats during the party. Are normal snacks - pretzels, etc - available during the party?

We are on site - GF - so yes we could go to MK early if needed, then HS and Epcot at night!!! I'll follow your advice for LLMP and LLSP.

Thank you SO much!!!

Sure as long as your manage your time and don't spend extra time waiting around for the parade / shows in a special spot when you could be riding. Just plan to show up at the times and catch the action.

Yes to Outdoor vending carts are out but note they tend to close before the party is over so keep your eyes peeled. There are also designated locations to get Free packaged cookies, allergy free cookies, and beverages:
And there are also special treat options available for purchase there are lots of sites posting and reviewing:

Thank you so much. I just want to clarify - park hopping is allowed any time, correct? Do busses run between parks right at opening?

Yes with a Hopper ticket you can switch parks at any time. No, Park to Park buses don't start running until 10 AM each day.

Since you are staying at a deluxe resort you have extended evening hours at Epcot on 12/9 from 9:30-11:30pm.

Also, I think deluxe resort guest have advance purchase window for LL …

I'm wondering if it's worth an individual LL for guardians if we are going to Epcot as our second park? Or if we should just wait and do virtual queue drop at 1:00PM day of

As long as you've tapped into Epcot before 1:00 you can try to get in the VQ. I'm also a fan of doing both the VQ and LLSP.

Ok good points, I'll buy and virtual queue. I didn't realize you have to tap in before 1 to get in the queue!!

Everyone staying onsite (deluxe, moderate or value) can buy LLMP/LLSP seven days before their check-in date. Only those staying deluxe can buy LLPP.

Deluxe includes Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green.

You have to have entered the park to try for the 1:00 VQ. But if you enter the park after 1:00 and the VQ is not yet filled, you can get it then.

You have 3 tries at a VQ 7 AM, 1 PM, and 6 PM (6 PM one is only open to guests who qualify to attend Extended Evening Hours), 3 chances at a VQ but you can only have one active VQ at a time.

The only VQ that requires you to have entered the park is the 1 PM VQ. You don't need to be physically in the park at 1 PM, just that you need to have entered the park before 1PM.

I had no idea about the 6PM! That’s so helpful. Thank you!!!!

Deluxe guests window opens at the same time as all other Disney Resort guests. They do not have an advance purchase window.

You may wish to try for a Guardian's VQ at 7AM as once your BG is called, you will be allowed to ride at any point between then and when the park closes for the day. The only thing that would make it challenging is if you also wanted to try for a Tiana's VQ the same day as a guest may only hold one VQ at a time.

Oh really? They don’t care if you miss when your boarding group is called??

Hoping we don’t need Tiana’s. Going to ride at the Christmas party as long as it’s not freezing
