This is where it gets tricky........it can only be G or PG rated!!!:smooth:

We need it for 60 Junior High choir kids! :D

How about......

The Princess Diaries
Ever After
Mighty Ducks
The Rookie
Runaway Bride

I think these are all G or PG

I second Princess Bride! It is PG, but it has a bit of everything in there that most would probably love!

25 of the 60 are boys.......will they like Princess Diaries??:D

The Princes Bride is a classic. I am sure they will love it.

Oops, this is how movie-illiterate I am......is Princess Bride and Princess Diaries the same movie???:o :o :o

A Walk to Remember...just saw this with my 12 yr old daughter...great movie of hope and doing the right thing...I cried like a baby at the end.

What about The Goonies? It is rated PG, but it does have a few curse words in it if that's a concern.

What was the rating on Remember the Titans? I love that movie and I think my DD did around 8th or 9th grade too.

October Sky, Big Green, Princess Bride, Spy Kids, any Disney movie (Toy Story goes over well with my middle school classes) Shreck. If it's close to Christmas show a Christmas Story. I love that movie!

Show them a classic musical. I got my love for musicals in band, we would watch one each year. Singing in the Rain is my favorite and has enough humor that middle schoolers would love it.

Yes, Remember the Titans, The Rookie are two really good ones that stand out for me.

Apollo 13 my son loves..

October Sky my son loves as well. (middle schoolers)

Iron Giant, my son loves.

I vote for SHREK, Spy Kids. It appeals to everyone.

We watched A Christmas Story and WOW! does that have alot of cuss words. 6yodd picked them out pretty quick.
Or I suppose you could watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. But some parents have problems with that.

The Princess Bride or The Princess Diaries are pretty good too.

The Rookie, Remember the Titans, October Sky...does not appeal to my dds. I wish it did but they say it is a "boy" flick.

Monsters, Inc. - yes, it's a Disney movie, but my middle school DD and her friends love it to death.

Hmm....

The Christmas story does have a lot of rude words/cussing... I don't like my kids to watch it.

The new Grinch movie is pretty good, if you can get past Jim Carrey green and furry!

Amazing, my daughter loved The Rookie...

Another vote for musicals.. I remember us watching bye Bye Birdie in 7th /8th grade and loving it...

Some parents may not like Shrek as well, although I don't have a problem with it.

Believe it or not, Wizard of Oz is a favorite as well. .
