I need ideas: What do you keep in your WW pantry?

Oops, sorry about that. Jay's is a local brand.

Thanks for the other brands/amounts! I think I'll be switching my popcorn! :teeth:

There are several additions to the 100 calorie packs -

Some of my faves:

Doritos
Cheetos
Fudge stripe cookies

(do you see a trend? :rotfl: )

Anything else new? :confused3

(this thread needed a bump anyway) :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Great bump!

Especially since those WONDERFUL 100 calorie packs that I LOVE and talk about all the time, are DOING ME IN! - you know them, they're everywhere, all kinds of snacks, cookies, etc. - Well, AVOID them! I think they've been the reason for my up/down maintenance lately. :guilty: Substituting a 2 pt. fruit for a 'snack', is just NOT being wise. :sad2: I should know better after 2+ years. :rolleyes2 I'm on maintenance and feel a need to 'diet' these days! :headache: Seriously, these are convenient snacks, but not daily nutrition. :sad2: Again, I should know better. :( I really should!

Along that line - has anyone seen any new HEALTHY 2pt/100 cal snacks available? :confused3 I'm thinking cheeses, yogurts, etc. Now THAT would be helpful! :thumbsup2

Add your 'sightings' here! :sunny:

Has anyone tried the new Wish Bone salad sprays... I would love to know if they taste good and how many pts? What a great idea if it is low fat/low pts just a "mist" of salad dressing.

I haven't even heard of these! WOW!!! Someone let us know! :thumbsup2

I agree with Kim that the 100 calorie snack packs can really do a person in. I find that I am grabbing a pack from my desk drawer rather than walking to the fridge for carrot sticks or an apple or light yogurt in the late afternoon. I am trying to be better about giving my body "fuel" and not just food, regardless of how low the points are.

Yesterday, DH marinated 9 chicken breast pieces in fat free italian dressing all day and then grilled them and kept basting them in the fat free dressing too. They are so moist and delicious! Last night I cut two up and mixed with a mexican blend of frozen veggies, some corn and some salsa and had an awesome, veggie rich and protein dinner.

A couple of things that are vital in my pantry/fridge for this journey are: medium salsa, egg beaters, chicken breast, and tuna.

Lisa -- I am going to have to look for those salad sprays. What a great way to flavor non-salad foods, too!

Kim -- If you are looking for a great 2 pt snack, I'd suggest laughing cow light cheese wedge spread on a couple of crackers or on a rice cake. One wedge is more than enough for me to spread on a lite english muffin or 2 slices of light bread -- all these options are 2 pts total, if you use the bread that is one point per serving.

Thanks for that link Lisa! :thumbsup2

Oooh, thanks! :thumbsup2 I will look for these. I've been slacking on cheese (dairy), so a low pt choice is great to know! :goodvibes

Great thread.

A few of my suggestions. (I travel a lot so portable is good)

Kraft Low Fat Mozzerella string cheese. 2 pts and I love this
Pria bars. (Not low carb or the new "fuel" bars) 2 pts. They are a lifesaver for me. THe mint one tastes like Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies.
Individual bags of carrotts. Travel well and count as a veggie!

I read a review in the paper on the wishbone spray.. It sounds good.

:thumbsup2 I could go for that! :teeth:

ACK! I'm doing it again, in cyberspace no less - SNACKING! :sad2:

;) Thanks CarolA!

Balance Bars just came out with the first 100 calorie energy bar for snacking! :cheer2:

http://www.balance.com/100calorie/

3 flavors:
Chocolate caramel crisp
Peanut butter crisp
Vanilla caramel crisp

Haven't tried any of them yet, but they sound yummy. :cool1: I've always liked the regular Balance Bars. :flower:

Thanks for bumping! I was going to ask if there was a thread somewhere that had ideas....it's like you read my mind!

Fiber One Bars!!! They have oats/peanut butter which are 3 points, but the oats/chocolate ones are only 2 points!!:cool1: There is 9 grams of fiber in one bar and they are great for an afternoon snack to hold you over till dinner!

That is the first thing I thought when I saw the bump. The choc ones are great and a lot more filling than low fat granolas or kudas. I like them in the morning if I am running late for breakfast

The 100 calorie snack idea has had a BOOM in the past 1-2 years! Today I bought Breyer's cookie and cream ice cream cups that are 2 pts/100cals. It isn't as good as Edy's slow-churned, but it was ok. ;)

Melba rounds! 1 pt for 5! :thumbsup2

Thanks for bumping Kathy! This thread should be fixed up top. ;)
