I need ideas: What do you keep in your WW pantry?

ok, let me see what I would consider a staple that's not been mentioned.

first off from trader joes:

TJ unsalted tortilla chips -- 15 for 2 pts and NO salt NO BF!
veggie potstickers with wasabi sauce -- 8 -- 5 pts
Hi-Protein Cereal -- 2/3 cup for 2 pts
chicken sausages -- like brats -- 2 pts
TJ low fat butternut squash soup -- 4 pts
no pudge brownie mix

from the web:
Vitalicious muffins

from the health food store:

Nana's no sugar sunflower cookies -- huge and 4 pts

regular grocery:

FF cool whip for anything!
Kashi go lean blueberry waffles -- 1 pt for 1 or 3 pts for 2
Dannon light and fit vanilla yogurt -- 1 pt for 1/2 cup
any kind of low fat lunch meat

So I thought I'd add my own:

Healthy Choice 94% Natural microwave popcorn- 2 points for the whole bag

Weight Watchers Giant Fudge Bars-1 point and very creamy, kills my need for a chocolate fix

Pepperidge Farm 9 Grain bread-1 point per slice, 3 g fiber

Quaker Oats Bakery Favorites Instant Oatmeal-3 points each, but great flavors like French Toast, and Banana Bread, kill my cravings for the real thing (although I do make killer french toast with real syrup and real eggs for only 5 points)

Progresso Chicken Barley soup-3 points for the whole can, very filling

Boullion cubes-0 points for a cup of soup made with 1 cup boiling water and 1 cube, good when you just need to get to dinner (is that how you spell boullion? )

For frozen, Lean Cuisine Chicken Caesar Pasta Bowl, 4 points.

And my newest favorite...Barilla Tortelloni, great flavors like Ricotta and Asparagus, and Porcini Mushrooms, a serving is 2/3 cup uncooked, which cooks to fill a 1 cup bowl, with 1/4 cup of store sauce for a total of 5 points. Very filling.

Finally, these are my quick hits, my standbys for cooking one night to last several or freeze, are posted on the ww index, ziti with turkey sauce, and penne with artichokes.

Have a magical day!

I always have hard boiled eggs on hand. I actually don't eat the yolk because I don't like it anyway. 6 of the egg whites are ZERO points! I eat them for a snack:)

This is a great add-in to a salad also!

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray- 0 points, and it really does taste like butter!
THIS is heaven-sent, I swear! It's great for bagels, english muffins, toast and, baked potatoes, among MY faves (carb junkie);). I use the WW spray for popcorn tho. Just because the aerosol isn't cold like the ICBINB spray. ;) GREAT product! Stock up when it's on sale!! :sunny:

We finally got the La Tortilla wraps at my grocery store- 1 point!!! (or free, depending on how you round the numbers...):teeth:

What popcorn do you guys eat? I read Healthy Choice in another post but I could not find it at our store. I love popcorn but they really have a huge range of points between the different kinds.

Pop Secret 94% fat free buttered popcorn. I may be wrong on the % but, it's around there. I believe ACT II also makes a % fat free popcorn.

Wow I love this thread, Kathy thank you for bumping... I have a couple new foods.

-Quakes Cheddar Corn Rings 25=2 pts and they taste like those fatty cheesy cheese puffs
-Skinny Cow Choc&PB Ice Cream 1/2c =2pts
(add FF cool whip and 1/2 banana makes a great "sundae")
-Just 2 Good Salad Dressings 3T=1pt
-Oscar Mayer Ready Made Bacon 3=2pts
-Boboli Thin Crust Pizza Crust 1/5 of crust=3pts
(add low pt sauce, 2% mozz cheese and tons of 0pt veggies)
Soy nuts and Soy Crisps for snacks, the soy nuts are even great with salads.

Okay now for my favorite new meal: In a Ziploc dump an envelope of taco seasoning (the FF kind like El Paso).
Take Chicken breast and coat like you are making shake n bake bake in a pan coated with cooking spray bake for 25 mins at 350 and then take out and add salsa bake 10 more mins.

It is wonderful and the best thing about it is the leftovers the next day I cut up the chicken to bite size pieces and serve over a salad and ranch dressing for a southwest type salad. Yummy!

Thanks again Kath--hope everyone has great new ideas!

Baked Tostitos: 20 Chips for 2 Points
Ultra-Skim Milk: 1 Cup for 1 Point
Pepsi One: Free
Special K Bars: 2 Points Each
Chewy Bars: 2 Points Each
Salsa: Free
Sugar Free Jello: Free - This is my new fav. snack. I didn't have any made today, so I have been eating SK Bars.
Vanilla Almond Special K: 3/4 Cup for 2 Points

r3ngels... that taco chicken sounds yuuummmy! I will have to try it!

I haven't read all the way through...but what a great list! I'm putting together a Word Document with all of these things listed so that I can pull it out when I go to the grocery store. :D

Have you discovered the Snyder's (the pretzel people) Tortilla Chips yet? 40% less fat...and they taste like REAL chips. A serving is "about 13 chips" and only 3!!!! points. They are excellent.

Lots of great stuff here for a WW newbie! :) I'm going to have to use this thread to put my grocery list together tonight!

I'm not even looking at the replies because I know from reading the WW food book that there is much more choice for low fat stuff in the States than here in Canada. If only I could bring back a freezer full of stuff!

My breakfast saviour is All Bran. I used to eat Special K but it's not nearly as filling or nutritious. I have about 1/4 cup of original All Bran with about a cup of All Bran flakes and some strawberries. Quite an improvement from bagels with peanut butter every day!

Low fat popcorn has been good lately...great for the munchies and to tide me over until my next meal.

I live off of tacos made with whole wheat tortillas, salsa, ground chicken or turkey and sometimes lower fat cheese.

I absolutely LOVE the new 100 calorie packs of Oreo crisps!! They are awesome!!!

They are 2 points for one package. They have Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Cheese Nips, and a fruit snack. Yummy!
