I need help!

I am planning two trips next year, one in April/May and the other for MNSSHP. We plan on staying four or five days each trip. I can't decide whether to get a AP, PAP, MYW 10 day no expiration, or different tickets for each trip. My husband loves Typhoon Lagoon and we visit at least once every trip, and we will probably head over to Pleasure Island on both trips as well. We have AAA and Disney Visa. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I would recommend getting at least the AP as it might help you save some money on other parts of your vacation - can book rooms using Best Rate Program, if you dine out a lot you can join the Disney Dining Experience, etc.

If you're planning to stay on-site, then an AP would be my choice because of the room discounts. If not, then the 10 day no expire tickets would be my choice with the hopper and waterparks option. We have the 10 day hopper/no expire tix and are so glad we purchased them. They will last us between 3-4 trips and are WAY cheaper than previous ticket options, even when you add the hopper and no expire options. Have fun planning!

I think that you'll need to evaluate what the total cost to you will be.

AP = $420.68
PAP = $548.49

10-day MTW Premium at Ticketmania = $379 (less if you order thru the MouseSavers Newsletter.

4-day MYW Hopper w/Magic Plus (expiry) at Ticketmania = $235
cost for 2 = $470

Cost of waterpark admission = $36.21
Cost of waterpark admission w/AP discount at the gate= $32

Cost of PI admission thru Ticketmania = $16 (less thru MouseSavers newsletter)

So, looking at it that way, the 2 4-day passes is your worst value.

The 10-day pass is your best value if you have no intention of spending more than 10 days in the parks over the next year.

The AP is a good value if you feel that you would like to stay onsite and are hoping for a room discount (not necessarily guaranteed to happen) or if you want to pay an extra $50 to get the Disney Dining Experience card. If you feel that you'll do 3 or more waterpark visits plus 2 or more PI trips, you should probably consider buying a PAP instead of the AP.

Do you have AAA? The Best Rate price for our Dec. trip is currently only saving us $100 more than the AAA rate for 7 nights at a Moderate. If you do have AAA, then I would probably get the 10 day MYW Premium tix. with no Expiration.
