I need help night before members cruise!

I just went to book two rooms for the night before the members cruise and the Raddison is booked! I need any and all suggestions for a Hotel preferable on the same road as the Raddison which is located near the car rental returns.

I read that the Radisson is not really sold out, just listing that way for Saturday night stays. It's a holiday weekend, and they want you there for Friday and Saturday night. Try putting in Fri and Sat to see if it gives you availability. That doesnt help with your question, but since so many ran into this I'd thought I post.

Many of the cruisers tried to book and ran into this. We are staying at the BWV.

On the cruise meet board, we have a huge thread for the Member Cruise and most have already made their pre-cruise arrangements so that may be of some help too.

LIFERBABE just reading your plans for the BWV for the night before the cruise has made it more real for me. We'll be there too!

We had the exact same problem too. I put in Friday and Saturday night and got availability, but even then I thought the price was way too high. I know I can get "on-site" at WDW for less and spend the evening at Pleasure Island or hanging out with other DISers. I would much rather use my paid for points to stay at BWV (yes at weekend rate) than to pay the Raddisson over $120 a night for a hotel room.

Guess I am spoiled.

Ditto to what TNRobin said. We also tried the Radisson and the online booking would only give us space available if we booked Fri & Sat. We're going to go ahead and try to get a room at SSR at our 7 mo window. We're just waiting for 2/4 to make that plan. If we don't get that, then I guess we'll then decide if we'll go to another DVC location or try another hotel at the Port.

Since we're only going to be there one night, we thought it would be fun to at least stay somewhere new. SSR is new to us, if we can't get in there then who knows where our mood will lead us next. We're also kinda waiting to see where the before cruise party is!
