I need help finding a link that was posted

I have read countless threads and now I can't the one that I really need.

There was a link to a website that allowed you to put in what vehicle you'll be driving and your to and from points and it calculated when you would need to stop and get gas. I thought I bookmarked the site but I can't find it now. Does this sound familiar to any one? Or am I making this up

I just looked at gas buddy. Assuming their MPG figures are 100% accurate I'd be getting gas with under 1/2 gallon left in my tank.

People who really want to use the program to decide what gas stations to stop at should consider using the advanced options to decrease the capacity of their fuel tank by a few gallons.

Good tip! I was using it to get an idea of where we will be when we got close to refueling so we can plan breaks for the kids to run around. I wouldn't dare risk driving on a gallon of gas!

A gallon of gas? Gasbuddy says you're gassing up too often if gas up when you still have a gallon. It says my tank is 11.9, sounds right. It has me getting 11.68 gallons (.22 gallons left). Other fill ups are for 11.1 and 11.05.

I'd probably decrease the capacity of my tank by 3 gallons, more if I had a bigger tank. The program looks for the cheapest gas. There may not be much else in the area.
