I need help figuring out what to do today!!!

I have no idea what to pack!! I have a list from online but aside from one pair of nursing PJ's I am using everything they want me to pack!!

I need my pillow now and if you are bringing it so that you have some comfort of home, what's the point of bringing a pillow different than the one you use!!

I am wearing my other PJ's almost non-stop (except to wash) b/c not much fits!!

I have the camera battery charging and the camera on the table.

I have the baby's bag packed but the nurse at the childbirth class says that we don't need anything for the baby other than a going home outfit if we want a special one. I do want to bring a few things for him rather than rely on the hospital things.

I use my shampoo/conditioner/makeup now so I can't pack that.

I don't have any plans for labor music or anything so I don't know what to pack in that regard. We are doing our hospital tour tomorrow night so maybe that will change. YES I realize we are cutting it a bit close on that!!

We aren't allowed to bring food in, so no snacks.

I am wearing my few nursing bras so I can't pack those, I was waiting to have him to get a few more b/c the ones I have fit so differently and my BB's have changed that much with pregnancy.

Any ideas???

BTW: I am great at excuses... drove my mom nuts when I was little!!!!

I am right there with you sister - I am due a week from tomorrow. There are so many things I want to do, but I can't because I am so swollen and every time I try to clean, etc. the swelling gets worse!

Just a little suggestion on the PJ's - you might want to pack a nursing gown instead, because they are going to be checking you "down there" over and over after delivery.

I am

I was thinking of going out a getting a nursing gown but I can't find one I like. I am super picky!! I wear a t-shirt to bed. I wear PJ pants when I get up. All the nursing tops that I find at the store are sleeveless or long sleeves. I don't care for either. I should try to find one tomorrow and start sleeping in it so that I can get comfortable with it.

I will pack my bag, I promise ... now what bag to pack? A suitcase? A duffle? A carryon size?? Ahh the choices!!

I was also admitted without having packed a bag. I had to have DH or his mom bring everything I needed. But to tell you the truth, I didn't need much other than my personal grooming stuff, since I didn't want to wear my own clothes and ruin them (I was in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks with my water leaking), and the hospital pretty much supplied me with whatever else I needed.

Maybe you could just work on making a list, so that you don't have to even think about it when the time comes.

I hear you about the nursing gowns. Really, though, you don't need a nursing gown per se - just find a cute nightshirt or something with buttons down the front that will give you access!

I honestly don't remember what I brought to the hospital when DD was born. I think we may have used one small carryon suitcase and shoved everything in there.

Oh and about snacks - are you sure they meant no food period, or just no food for you? DH is probably going to need something to eat, so I would try to sneak something in for him.
