This will be our third trip (will be there in a few days), and we've never done Photo Pass, or whatever it's called. I think I understand the general idea of it, but just wanting to know how convenient it is. Are there lots of photographers? Do we just tell them we have MM? I like the idea of not having to carry our own camera, but I also want to feel like we're getting our money's worth. Any opinions?

I was very hesitant of it, but after talking to a few people here, we decided to go for it.

For us it was 100% worth it. We were only there 3 days and we walked away with over 175 pictures.

There is a map somewhere on line of where all the photographers are, but mostly they are all over the place on the main walks to the parks so you can get good views of the main landmark.

They also take multiple photos- so for every photographer we stopped at we got 3-5 pictures.

We did many character meet and greets as well, and the photographers were at about 80% of them. And they start taking pictures the minute the kid walks about to the character. So once again for each character we got 4-8 pictures. And some of my favoirtes are the ones where my son wasn't totally posed with the character saying cheese, but instead just talking with them, giving hugs, getting kisses, etc.

We had breakfast at Chef Mickeys and got that picture

We got all the pictures from Enchanted Tales with Belle

We got all the pictures from any rides where pictures were taken.

We are offsite, so we had a card they scanned rather then a band. if you are onsite, it can be linked to your band and that is what you scan.

Hope that helps!

That sounds wonderful!! I can't imagine that many pictures for just 3 days! Thanks for sharing your experience.

For us, since we knew we had put down the money for it, it kind of became a priority and it was fun looking for the photographers. It was kind of like a scavenger hunt

If we hadn't made the initial investment I don't know if we would have been as motivated.

We even got a couple "magic shots" where the photographer posed us in a way and when I downloaded them, there was an animated character in the photo with us.

my favorite is where we have our hands held out together and tinker bell is standing on our hands. So cute!!

Don't forget to ask the photographers for magic pictures also. They have you pose a certain way then ad an animated character after. My favorite we did was stitch sitting beside us while we all looked surprised. Not sure if they are still doing that one or have included new ones. But super fun!

Oh, fun!! That sounds adorable! Okay, you all have me convinced; I'm going to call and order it! I'm hoping I'm not too late, as we will be there Wednesday!

I had this same question. I can't figure out how to copy the thread. I think you can find it on my signature. It had lots of answers. I did end up getting it. Although I don't think we got 175, I'm glad we did it!! All the ride photos make it a real plus!!!!

Well...I didn't get it. :( He said it would cost us an extra $50 since our trip is on Wednesday. Between this and getting charged an extra day of tickets when we'll actually be on our way home, I'm getting a little peeved. Oh, well. I'll just take my camera!

Ack!!! Thank you so much!!!! Calling now!!!

It's technically 72 hours not three days. So if you purchased it right now you would get any photos taken after 746pm Wednesday.

I am so confused!! When I called earlier, the guy told me it would cost me an extra $50 because I'm calling within the 72 hour period, but on MDE it says nothing about costing extra, but just explains what you mentioned about not taking photos within the 72 hour period.

The discounted pre purchase is the $149, but you can buy it there for $199.
