I need help budgeting this trip

Ok so i am taking my family of 5 of there first Disney trip in January 2014... as of this moment in time we are using a military discount (i dont understand all the short code in this forum yet so please bare with me!) for our 5 night stay at the AofA. i would like to keep it as cost effective as possible as we only have 4 months of planning and only 3 months (or less) of savings to do!

please help me!

For a family of five you may want to consider either AoA suites or if you have younger kids, POR as it's a mod with 2 queen and a murphy bed.

For Jan 2014, at this point, there's a Stay/Play/Dine offer. Again, depending on the ages (10+ are considered Disney Juniors which means, they pay adults ticket and dining prices), this might be a better deal. That offer (not out just yet but soon hopefully) makes all juniors and adults to pay kids tickets and dining prices.

Something you may want to consider. Based on PINs that have come out, S/D/P is based on the resort you stay. Values willl get QSDP, while mods and deluxe will get DDP.

But since the kids are young, might not be worth it...
