Our golden is one year old (Rocky). He is so sweet, loveable just wants to cuddle.

As my Rumba (whatever it's called - vacuum-, I got it for Christmas) is running downstairs, cleaning up his hair I LOVE that thing.

Whatever you decide...keep in mind training! There were a ton of names I loved for my new golden pup. But, they just didn't work with training. If we had taken a girl pup, she would have been either Meg or Daisy. But, we went with a boy...no Disney name for him though. He got stuck with Riley!

That sweet puppy breath? I'm on my third golden puppy...I just don't get it. Smells like skunk, every single time. But, at 2.5 months, he's starting to lose that skunky breath!! Thank heavens.

We are bringing home a female golden retriever pup in 5 weeks, and I have been having the most awful time finding a name for her! I am a huge Disney fanatic, and would love to name her something related to Disney World. I was looking through The Haunted Mansion characters and didn't find any that I really liked, unfortunately. That is my favorite ride ever. But if anybody has any suggestions of names related to the parks, I would love to hear them!

She is darling! I see you are located in St. Louis. We live in Illinois. Would you be willing to share the breeder name? We lost our golden to cancer last summer and are looking for another one. You can PM me any details.

We just got a yellow lab puppy (which is so similar in looks to golden puppies.) He's 8 weeks old now and we keep saying he looks just like Simba when he was a cub. So for you, my vote would be Nala! And as a side note, friends of ours have an older golden retriever named Nilla (like the wafer cookies.) I love that!

edited to add: I just saw your post that you decided on Ellie. That's a great name too!

I love the name Nala for a golden, but unfortunately a friend of mine already has a golden named Nala! haha I'm happy with, Ellie, though. I think it really suits her
