We are participating in a progressive supper in a couple of weeks, basically 4 people hosts groups of 6 for starters (appetisers), then we split up and go in different groups to 4 other homes for main course, and then everyone convenes in the largest house for dessert.

We are hosting 6 people for a starter, I am a terrible cook, and normally I would just do pate, or soup to start with, but since that is all I will be serving, I need something a little more impressive and substantial to serve.

Any ideas?

Bev

How about stuffed mushrooms......spring rolls..both very easy to make.

with the sauce in the middle of the leaves.....very pretty......and a great starter......I also like fruit and whipping cream mixed together..very easy to do.......I love crabmeat mousse.....it is so elegant and delicious.....easy to make and serve on a silver platter....if you would like that recipe .....let me know

Bev,

Try going to the new Disney World restaurant data base and put in dinner and starters. You can find it by clicking on the thread at the top of this page. It will give you a list of the starters from all the restaurant menus in Disney Word. There should be some really interesting things there.

Have fun,
Chessie
