I need a steam cleaner, any suggestions

I can't decide whether to rent one for now, or just get one.

Any suggestions on either?

It depends on what you can find available. I purchased a used professional style steam cleaner 30 years ago. It still does a much better job than any they rent out at the stores or that I could buy anywhere now.
