Biergarten in Germany - the music and dancing is great and the audience interaction is so much fun! Oy Oy Oy!
Garden Grill - this is with Chip and Dale, Mickey and Pluto. It is in the Land Pavillion and it rotates through the Land ride. The food is pretty good and it has a good kid's menu.
OMG TEPPAN EDO ALL THE WAY!!! (Japan Pavilion). My DS10 and I love this place! Very entertaining. While there last yr, i saw many young children who seem to be enjoying themselves. They were mesmerized watching the chef cook. Also, they have the best steak there. Far better than le cellier in my opinion!
Epcot is my favorite place to eat in Disney! We usually book more than half of our ADR's there.
One of my DD8's favorits is Coral Reef - the tank is really cool! We always ask to sit as close to the tank as possible and have always gotten the table next to the tank. The fish really keep the kids entertained and Dh and I can actually have some adult time!
She also really likes Garden Grill - it has Mickey, Pluto and Chip & Dale. It's a family style restaurant and you can order more of what you like. Last time we ordered more steak and fish. It was Yummy!
Les Chefs in France is nice also, if you book an early dinner reservation you can see Remy. We booked dinner at 5:00 and Remy comes around at 5:20 (but not on Sundays!).
The Coral Reef food is AWESOME! and the kids will love looking at the Fishies.
Then either Garden Grill- can't go wrong with characters for kids
or Teppan Edo- Kids will LOVE watching food get prepared right at table, just don't let them touch the hot grill
My suggestions would be either Coral Reef (for the aquarium) or Garden Grill (for the characters) in Future World or Teppan Edo (for the "show"), Biergarten (for the band), or San Angel Inn (for the atmosphere) in World Showcase.
That being said, for our upcoming trip, we've chosen the following EPCOT restaurants: Coral Reef (lunch), Garden Grill (dinner), Le Cellier (lunch), & Tutto Italia (dinner).
(I originally had Teppan Edo on our list, but our DD really doesn't like that type of food. And we have some really good Japanese restaurants in our area. And we just haven't gotten around to Biergarten yet! )
We try to chose something that we don't have at home. We have good Japanese & Chinese food at home. Look for something different that you know you kids will eat. My kids love pp suggestions of Garden Grill & the Mexican pavillion
if they're small try a character meal like garden grill. otherwise depending on their age and interest in what they have for dinner get them involved in picking where to go. we've always made eating on vacation an adventure with the understanding if anyone of the group ends up just not liking anything they get we'll take time for them to grab something quick later. my 7 y/o granddaughter is now growing up doing the same thing and is a very adventurous eater and even thinks she wants to be a chef...or maybe i should say already thinks she's a chef .
