At 22 years old this is the first time I will be setting off for the wonderful world of Disney without my mom. She was going to go with us, but my little sister is in highschool and has X-Country regionals. Well my DW and I are in the process of planning and I relieze that all those things that I used to make fun of my mom for, I miss. I never remembered it being this hard. So this is to all those Disney Moms (and Dads) who plan every moment of the trip so that their family can enjoy the trip with no worries.

I know that for all those years I made fun of your "mom" bag that you carried through the park, but then I remember that everytime I needed some pepto or some tylenol you were there with it. Then there was the "cheat sheet", we all used to kid that you had it down to when we could go to the bathroom. Now I sit at my computer typing mine up so that when I need to know what parks open early, close late, and where our ADR's are I have them...and yes I will laminate it. Speaking of ADR's when can I go back to the day that I tell you where I "have" to go to and you plan the rest. Who is going to take all the pictures, I swear people think that you never went with us. So thank you mom, we made fun because we knew we could never do it without you.

*Sorry if this is in the wrong place

oh you made me tear up...........that was sweet!

:)

I'm well past the point where my parents plan for me but there are still times in life when I catch myself looking around thinking, "when is the adult going to show up to solve this!?"

Parents are great!

That was beautiful! Speaking as a MOM... we do it all with love. I have had the pleasure of being the leader for both with both my daughter at Disney and now this upcoming trip with my MOM! I am giddy at the idea.
As for your mom, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. She obviously taught you well. I hope you call her right now and tell her what you told all of us. NOW! I said...quit reading this...............go call her!

( I miss my kids...can you tell?)
