He was at my LSS for a couple days teaching classes. I didn't get to register for any of the classes in time but I did get to go for a Demo he did of a new product from Adirondack - Acrylic Paint Dabbers. I've really never gotten into using paint on my layouts but I thought this was really neat - the dabber makes sure you don't use too much and it couldn't be easier. I only got a couple colors to start (They were about $4 each) but some women were buying the entire color line - 38 colors! The store owner wasn't expecting that! I just recreated a sample he did here at home painting over letter stickers then removing the stickers to create a negative space. He also showed us how to create a custom ink pad using a product called Cut and Dry (I think?). I didn't buy that one because I don't do a lot of stamping but basically you can ink each section of the stamp the color you want right onto the pad and you don't have to keep reapplying ink or markers to the stamp. I'll definitely try that if I end up using a rubber stamp for Christmas cards this year.

I just think he is amazingly creative. He showed us one of his stamps that he actually got the inspiration for from the pattern of the shirt he was wearing today! He seemed like a really funny guy and it was a little thrill to meet a scrapping celebrity! Next year I'll be sure to register for a class.
