May 10th when we go on vacation at Disney. How do I get to the wedding pavilion? I'm guessing I would take the busses to the Grand Floridian but would I have to go to a theme park to get onto the the bus that goes to the grand floridian?

Just take the bus to the MK. Then take the monorail to Grand Floridian. Then just walk to the wedding pavilion. It's easy

I am actually talking with Heidi about my wedding.. She is a sweet heart..

Lynn5700, depending upon where you're staying, you would most likely take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. From there, take either the monorail or the water taxi to the Grand Floridian. From the Grand Floridian, you would follow the walkway that leads to the Wedding Pavilion Complex where Franck's is located. It takes most folks less than 5 minutes to walk from the Grand Floridian to Franck's. The following should help:

If you will be bringing or renting a car, I strongly recommend driving. It could not be easier to get there by car. On our last trip, relying on Disney Transportation was a nightmare. We will never travel to WDW without renting a car ever again. Good luck!

I agree about driving! Trust me, when I am at WDW I ALWAYS take Disney transportation and when people told me to drive I was like 'no way, I'm not trying to find my way around there,' but on the morning of our PS we were running late and had to drive. We were staying at POFQ and it took us 10-15 minutes!!! We had timed the whole bus-monorail-walk thing the day before and it took about 35-45. Depending on where you're staying the directions should be pretty easy. Go to your front desk or concierge at your resort and tell them where you need to go and they will give you a big property map and highlight the route for you. It's really VERY easy :)

Lynn5700, one thing that I forgot to mention is that you can take a taxicab to Franck's from your resort. I have stayed in all of Disney's on-site resorts. I have never rented a car while vacationing in WDW. However, whenever I have been in a hurry to get somewhere on time, I have used a taxicab. So if you don't want to go the Disney transportation route, and you don't have a car while you're on-site, consider taking a taxicab.

Lynn5700, I noticed from your signature that you’ll be staying at the Pop Century during your upcoming vacation. When you check in (assuming that you won’t have a car), ask Luggage Services how they handle taxicabs. The Pop is a large resort: click here. Will a taxicab go directly to your building to pick you up or will you need to go to the main check-in building in order to be picked up? Luggage Services should be able to answer that question for you.

Also, ask Luggage Services how much time you should allow for a taxicab to arrive. For example, at the Deluxe Resorts, taxicabs are normally found on-site and getting one is almost an instantaneous event. However, other resorts have to call for a taxicab and that could take anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. You need to be aware of how taxicabs are handled at your particular resort. I wouldn’t want you running late for your meeting with the FTW folks. ;)

Thank you for all the advice girls.
