I mailed/received my T-Shirt Exchange

Boy, I'm on the ball this time! I mailed my t-shirt out this morning when I mailed my basket. It's going north also.

Thats what I call being organised!!!!I am buying mine tomorrow but I won't get it posted out until Wednesday as all our post offices are closed until then to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.Guess where mine is going ............................you got it over the water!!!!!

Not saying what state though!!

I sent mine out today, too and it's going overnight so it should be in Texas before 3:00 pm tomorrow! WooHoo!

Well, I am a little late here. Tomorrow I will get the stuff for my basket exchange and get it mailed Monday. I can't get my t-shirt until June 12 or 13. I have a specific shirt in my mind, but have to make a little trip to get it. So, both the basket and the shirt will be mailed within two weeks. Can't wait to go shopping.

Bouncy, I think that's really neat that you chose 'overseas' rather than just exchange with TT! You really have your heart and effort in this! Thanks! (That means that at least 2 of us are GETTING t-shirts from overseas! Cool! )

And, since I think Bouncy knows who her giver is, all I can say is, sorry it wasn't me! But, I'll bet she knows where Chicago is now!

It wouldnt be exciting for myself and Bouncy to swap as we both shop in the same places We live 15 minute drive from each other.

I'm going to buy my t-shirt tomorrow. Will try and get it posted tomorrow cause as Bouncy said the post offices are closed here on Monday and Tuesday for this jubilee thing. But hey, I'm getting Monday off work so thats good

What an unexpected surprise, So Soon!! Kirby (Susan) was sooo incredibly thoughtful for including a t-shirt, magnet AND a little info letter about her and her family/location, etc.

I should also mention my t-shirt came from TX! She was so funny mentioning that the 'pictured' Armadillos on my t-shirt are considered "road or speed bumps"! DH & I were hysterical!

Susan (Kirby), I'll get a personal PM off to you ASAP! I'm sooo happy I participated in this exchange, thanks to Kirby (Susan) and, of course, Bouncy!

And, of course, my apologies to MY recipient! It's yet to be bought but, not forgotten!

I sent mine out yesterday, but since it had to go across the border it may take longer than necessary! I should hopefully be there by the end of the week! I hope they like them!
I just realized I forgot to put the card in with the shirts explaining why I got the ones I did! OY!

I bought mine today, to be sent out ASAP! I was in a momentary panic, as all the places I thought had local t-shirts weren't carrying them any more! I mentioned this to a friend who has a flower shop and she had a wonderful shirt for me! See, sometimes it does pay to whine! LOL I'm really excited about this find! It should be on it's way tomorrow!

I bought mine today and I'm heading off to write a short note to stick in with the t-shirt. Hopefully I will get it mailed out tomorrow. My exchange is heading northeast and should be arriving by Saturday at the latest!

I didn't get a chance to post until tonight but I'm so excited because I got my t-shirt from ***********! It's a gorgeous yellow layered-look shirt with an embroidered picture of daisies and other flowers with an Amish wagon and it also had Amish Country Pennsylvania embroidered on it. And it smells so yummy (just like shoofly pie in fact) because she actually included a shoofly pie and some jams in the box too! I just mentioned the other day how interested I was in the Amish and asked what a shoofly pie was too. And now I can't wait to taste it. You certainly paid attention lol!

Funny how everything is exactly my taste too. I wonder why that is? Thanks a million!!!

By the way, my stuff is ready to go. It's just waiting for me to have the time to mail it. One more day of work and then it's on the way!!!

I posted mine today. It's got a long way to travel starting with a flight over the Atlantic Ocean. Everything I've sent to the uS has got there in a week so the recipient should have it this time next week.
