Well, I am FINALLY able to post. Did tons of baking for my church fair and it is over now.

Many, Many thanks to JLdriscoll - she sent beautiful laminated receipe cards, and ingrediants for all the receipes in a beautiful gingerbread cloth sack (that also had a receipe and gingerbread people printed all over it.) I made her snowmen cookies for the fair and it was the BIGGEST SELLER!!!

Also thanks to Jiminy102 who sent a HUGE box filled with all different types of cookie cutters, a cookbook and Reynold wrap unstickable stuff (which worked out great in my flurry of baking). I also did one of her receipes for the fair and as well it sold out.

Thanks so much for everything - I can't wait for next years!!

So last night my neighbor comes by with a stack of my mail that had been delivered to her by mistake last week (what took her so long?). And in it was my wonderful box from Elaine (msdznyduck). Thank you so much!! It was a charming collection of snowman-themed items. There's a snowman dishtowel with a matching pot holder, a magnetized snowman shopping list that looks nice on my fridge, a snowman cookie cutter, two Yankee Candle potpourri tarts (they smell so good even in the packaging), three recipes and some mints to use in one of the recipes. I've already made the Lemon Shortbread today and it was scrumptious.

Elaine, thank you so much for such a nice collection of goodies.

Glad to hear you got yours maleficent. I was getting worried it went to the dead letter post box !! I mailed it the 30th of Oct, and thought it had gone astray.......smelling the way it did. Do they have dogs sniffing mail these days? It must have driven them nuts if there were !! I pictured them tearing it apart. Next time I mail something good smelling, I'll have to put it in a better box, to aleive my worries. Glad you liked the shortbread ones. they are one of my faves.

I recieved mine yesterday. It's like xmas just a little early. thanks so much for the wonderful stuff from Bobcat. I recieved two xmas placemants, a xmas dish towel, 4 xmas cookies cutters and a package of pecans as well as 4 very delicious sounding recipes. Since I love cheesecake, one of them is for a cheesecake pumpkin bar and I am looking forward to making them today. Went out last night and bought ingredieints.

My recipes arrived today from Kellyla, all the way from Canada!! What a wonderful surprise!! Inside the box was a set of measuring cups and a cute snowman cookie tin filled with many wonderful recipes, ALL HAND WRITTEN! I was so impressed. They included Snickerdoodles, Kringle's Cutouts, Grandma's Shortbread (which looks soooo easy!), Chocolate Macaroons (yum!), and several others -- ten in all!!

But wait, that's not all! Also inside the cookie tin was a sweet Christmas tea towel and Mickey and Minnie Mouse Cookie cutters!! (Kelly also included a recipe for Gingerbread Mickey's!!) What a wonderful treat. THANK YOU Kelly!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone enjoys the recipes they've received. What a fun exchange this has been!! Thanks again, Meriweather, for your hand in all of this! Happy Holidays!!!
