We booked Yak and Yeti for 1/2 - I know that's a couple of days earler than you but we had no problem.......Also, I was told that they do charge your cc in full, but it was my understanding that you CAN cancel w/o penalty within the 48 or 72 hours. That doesn't seem right that they could not give your $$ back - it's not like a hard ticket item!

I haven't read all the replies, but will say I think the day you have 3 meals (1900, Sci Fi & PT) will be too much food! We came out stuffed from 1900 and didn't even think about eating again until about 4pm. I would move Sci to another day, or change it to dinner and move PT. IMO the food at PT is terrible and not worth it, so maybe just do dessert there?

Wow your ADR's look awesome - lucky you!

We will be there the same time as you. We are visiting Dec 15-21 and have ADR's for GF afternoon tea (to see the Christmas decorations etc.) and the CP package at le Cellier. We then do our cruise and return Jan 4-14 and have just made ADR's for Kona - 9.30am, Chef Mickey's - 9.30am and Tusker House 8.10 am (the same day as you!).

Hello Bella O: I am thinking perhaps my CM did not know what she was talking about yesterday based on some of the replies I have had so am planning to call again this morning to try and book Yak & Yeti and Planet Hollywood again. I'll let you know what happens.

Also the non-refund policy doesn't make sense to me either. I am asking about that again today as well.

A shout out also to Lollipop's Mom: Yes, our schedule on the Thrusday of our trip is really booked with meals but that is the way we plan it at HS every time we go. DD has to have her fill of PT and Sci Fi each trip. Normally lunch at PT for us is very light so it usually does not interfere with dinner. We have always had good food and great entertainment whenever we have went to PT. that is why we keep coming back. Hopefully this time around will be the same.

Kiwitinkerbell: Maybe I will see you there at Tusker House on ther 9th. That would be great to say Hi Also read that your cruising as well.
1st time? My family and I love cruising. We hope to try a Disney cruise sometime. Ususally we do Royal Carib.

This will be our second cruise with RCL. Last time we did the Western from Port Canaveral and this time we are doing the Eastern. - can't wait! I will look out for you at Tusker House!

I am confused about your CM interaction. I called to verify info, can't make ressies until 7-19. HDDR is non refundable unless it's cancelled?? Three cast members never mentioned that or that it may not be scheduled for January. I can see cutting back on the number of shows due to slower season, but cancelling???? Yikes! Did they offer you any additional info? I was told that once I am able to add the dining plan to my reservation that the HDDR and CRT will be refunded to my credit card. I hate do this bc I foresee such a hassle, but I am willing to forgo getting a ressie based that? no. I will suck it up and pay for it! And what's the point of 48 hour cancelation if you can't get a refund? Hmmm...I am rethinking ever scheduling a trip in January again!

Are there any CM out there that can verify the policy???

BTW, great choices. I am planning to do many of the same Jan 15-25! Have a great time!!

Santa's Surpriz Talked to another CM today and she told me the HDD is fully refundable if canceled within 48 hrs. Also there is a special hold on HDD, however she did not know why. They can make ADR's and accept payment for it but you must still call back in August to confirm. My ressie is made and I will happily call back in August.

Also on Yak & Yeti and Planet Hollwood. You can only make ressie for them 180 days out form the very day you want it. They do not accept the 180 plus 10 days rule. So I can call on Monday to make these if I still want too.

CM also said they can not make ADR's for Planet Hollywood during peak seasons. Since my family is going in Janaury I will be able to make an ADR for it.
