On Thursday, I went to the grocery store by myself! I only went for a few things and I felt pretty good and was not scared to go alone! (Due to my health) I have shopped at this store for year's so alot of the employee's know me! It was so nice to see everyone, etc. In the produce section I saw this lady, who I have ran into for year's. She used to work at the unemployment office, and I always got laid off every winter ( I use to work in construction) Turns out I always ended up with this lady. So whenever I would see her in the Mall or grocery store, we would always just say hello. I ran into her at the grocery store. Again I said hello and this time we started to chat.
Long story short, she herself had a Pancreas/Kidney transplant 5 years ago. She also had alot of complications after her transplant, etc. We almost sounded identical. Neither of us could believe the conversation that we where having! If it hard to find someone who has had these types of transplant's, as most are kidney.
We exchanged phone numbers and are going to go out and have lunch. We have talked on the phone, etc. She told her DH as I did mine, and none of us can get over it!
I have made a new friend!
Someone who is just like me!
. It sure is great that you found someone that is dealing with the same situation as you. Always nice to be able to talk to someone that TOTALLY understands what you are going through. Hope everything is well. Have a great Mother's Day!!!!!
