I made a HUGE mistake tonight!

"Would you like some green eggs to go with your ham?" (I asked my 6 yo son this question.)

"YES!"

Well, I've never made them for him before. He loved them. I made him one. I had to make another one. He saw how I was doing it, so he asked me to make him an orange one. Ok. Then my dd saw me. She wanted something tricker-a blue fried egg. She nibbled on it, then asked me to make her a plain fried egg. Then my ds got creative and wanted me to mix 4 colors for his next one. It turned out camo colored. I finally had to tell him after that 4th one that the cook was done for the night.

I think I'm going to have to buy more eggs tomorrow.

LOL, Shannon, you sure did. Get used to it, he will have you do that a lot.
Don't mention anything about pancakes being blue or green.

I'm moody. 99% of the time I want black coffee, but there's a small percent of the time I like taupe coffee (1 cream, 1/2 pack of sweet and low). And my ds says colored eggs are something that should NOT be missed.

Somehow when I made the orange one, it came out in the shape of an open rose. It was very pretty. Until my ds started eating it. FYI, that camo and blue egg almost made ME turn green.

Laurie! Thanks for that advice! I didn't think of that. Wait until he finds out I know how to tint the cake part of the cakes. He's been noticing the party cake mix in the store. I've played dumb.

I've done the multi-colored egg theme......as well as Mickey pancakes.....teddy bear pancakes (complete with chocolate chip eyes & nose).....

I like my pancakes normal please. lol It was my fault. I got creative one day.

You'd think I'd know by now that being creative will bite me in the butt. I know I'm going to be asked to make those eggs for quite awhile now. Once I'm out of one of the colors and forget to buy it, I'll be in the doghouse.

Gail, I haven't ever tried to make Mickey pancakes. I think I'll try that sometime (but I'm not telling my kids what I'm doing this time ).

LOL! You're not an egg eater, Todd? Maybe you should make some brown eggs and ham. You might convince yourself it's chocolate.

BTW, my dd spilled cocoa mix (the cooking kind) all over my keyboard today (it was an accident ). I kept thinking "Shep would see all that chocolate all over the place and think WHAT A WASTE OF GOOD CHOCOLATE!"

Methinks that Shep would have been doing "a line of chocolate" on his keyboard!! Now wouldn't he have some explaining to do to believe if she walked in and Shep has a straw and is bending over his keyboard and inhaling a suspicious looking substance. "Ummmmm, I spilled cocoa on my keyboard, honey!!"
