My husband got a letter about the 1,000 points/code and the points are in his account. I didn't get a letter or any additional points. Kids have their on RR but nothing there either.

Happy with the extra 1,000 my husband got.

My DH and I got an email saying we each got the 1,000 points and 20% off discount. We haven't bought or transferred points. In fact, all we've done since we signed up for RR and SWA credit cards, aside from basic charging on the credit cards, was get the bonus points for getting the cards and using most of those points for our December flight to MCO. Our kids are RR members too but it doesn't appear that they got the bonus points. If I'm reading the terms and conditions correctly, the discount is good for up to 8 people on the same reservation.

I checked my account because of this thread and there were 500 "bonus points" deposited in my account last week. I didn't get an email or any notification so it was a pleasant surprise. I do wish I'd gotten the 20% discount since I need to book tickets soon. But I'll just be grateful for the bonus!

I got an email today too. I thought it was a 20% discount on purchasing points. Glad I saw this thread! Anyone know how long the discount is good for? We are not traveling until December and can't book that far ahead yet.

Mine says you have to book by Sept 30 (midnight) and travel must be done by Oct 7. It also says you can't book until after March 31, so I guess they don't want you to book while the points are still at the lower exchange rate. It's still nice, though! I get 1000 points and 20% off which more than makes up for the point redemption change.

ETA: it also says it's good for up to 8 people, but only using points so you'd have to have a lot of points to book that many at once!

Thanks I looked further right after I posted. Mine said the same thing so I guess I am out of luck for this trip. I got 500 points though not 1000.

I just checked my RR account and there was a bonus point deposit of 1,000 points made on 3/21. I never received an email. I checked Dh's RR account as well as each of my 3 kids' and none of their accounts received any points. Oh well, I'll take what I can get!

I received a letter in the mail telling me I got 1000 bonus miles. No 20% though. Dh got two emails, one giving him 500 points and 20% off, and the second one with no points but another 20%code

He has 2 sw credit cards, I have one, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Boo! I didn't get any either. I would have loved the 20% off email. We are flying somewhere this summer, but not sure where yet, so can't book before the points prices go up.

I received this e-mail too and wondered if was padding (breaking the blow) for the point valuation increase at the end of the month... Nothing in America is free... LOL...
