That's a great layout! I'll have to consider a Cameo for the future!

I am really impressed, it is a lot lighter than the Cricut, though I do think it is a little louder cutting. But as long as you are computer savvy so you can get the images, I think you'd be impressed. But like I have said before, I am not getting rid of my Cricut, but I think there are definite uses for that too.

Only SCAL cuts .scal files. but SCAL can also cut imported .svg files.

The cameo's native files are .studio files, but can also cut .svg files using either SCAL, MTC or Silhouette Studio Designer Edition.

That is the simple way of thinking about electronic cutters.

It seems that svg files have become the "standard" of electronic cutters, but of course each program/cutter wants their own proprietary file structure so they make money.... just saying...
