I Love getting Snail Mail!

I'm a 26 yr old mother of 2 that still runs out the mail box every day! I LOVE to get snail mail! all bills aside, i really enjoy reading letter from friends. How about you? Magazines are also a bonus! Anyone else feel like this? I think i need a pen pal! WHO WANTS TO BE MY PEN PAL??

lol I always have that song in my head when I check the mail. Thanks to my nieces that loved BlueClues.

And yes, I love snail mail. I loved when I receive letters (friends, cousins), my magazines and freebies.

The mail is the highlight of my day. We don't see too many people here. When the mail lady comes in her beat up Blazer that you can hear a mile away, I begin to smile from ear to ear I could care less what it is.

Seriously, I really do enjoy getting mail. I even like those annoying circulars that come with all the ads that I never think of buying. I love getting my Soap Opera Digest every week and Time Magazine so I know what's going on.

I enjoy getting my Mickey Monitor, although I wish he would deliver it himself.

I also wish I could find a Mickey Mailbox. I think that would be neat.

I also love mail. Except the bills of course. But you have to take the good with the bad. I sign up for all kinds of things just to get snail mail. Really nice post. Maybe we could do a sign-up and once a month everyone could send out a post-card or a little note to every one who wants to join in. Maybe even add a free sample or something. That would be a great idea!!!

I used to have a lot of snail mail pen pals, anywhere from 25 - 50 at a time. Some I had since 1976, but about 3-4 years ago I kind of lost interest in letter writing and went more to e-mail. I do miss it though at times. I had a lot of really nice stationery for letter writing. I got most of my pen pals through a magazine called "Women's Circle" and even had my own letter, requesting pen pals, published a couple of different times. It was fun!

Most of my mail is junk or bills, but my mom is the queen of cards! She sends us cards for every single holiday, and I love it!

I hate sending e-mails to friend - I would rather talk to them on the phone.

I always had pen-pals as a kid, and would love to do it again - it might be fun. Plus, I have all this really great stationary and blank cards that I would love to use!
