And here just another example of why. I have a business trip in January that is at the Hilton in DTD. So I booked my airfare to head out a few days early with no room as I really didn't want to pay $199 per night to add those days at the Hilton when I have DVC. I waitlisted SSR and AKL and SSR came though on Christmas Eve. I can't wait. Now I'll waitlist AKL-savannah view and WLV and see what happens. If neither comes through - no biggie as I have a great room in walking distance to DTD. Isn't DVC GRAND!!!!

So far, so good for us....eventhough we haven't taken our first trip home yet (will have to wait until May for that). I have been wanting to become DVC members for a long time but my DH was skeptical, that was until we took the tour in September during our vacation, he was hooked and therefore we bought a small 100 pt. contract at BLT . We booked our May trip (staying at BCV) and my DH already said that he wants to book another trip for January 2012 (for his birthday) and stay at BLT. He also can't wait to add on to our contract, he is definitely getting hooked

Yes, we are fairly new memebers. We bought 200 points to SSR last March. We stayed at BCV in September and my wife ventured alone to SSR with my 18 month old son in December. We are staying at the Tree House Villas at SSR in January with family. Can't wait.

We are trying to buy 200 points at Beach Club, but we are not sure we will get it, but we hope we do. We wait listed there for our 1st trip. It was so convenient and the pool is amazing. We'd like to own there so we can get in. If we get ROFRed we will probably look at Boardwalk. With a small toddler it really helps to be close to Epcot and MGM (Hollywood Studios).

I really feel like remortgaging my house to buy 1,000 points at DVC (only kidding). We really love what what we see so far. Now if only it included airfare!
