I had both offers also so will probably need to do another $50 order to get the 30% back. I wish there wasn't a shipping fee but oh well. The closest Staples to us is 3 hours away.

I never have but was looking at these two for a possible upcoming off site trip...

I've stayed at both several years ago and they were very nice.

Sorry, I haven’t stayed at either of those places. I understand the World Center has a fairly nice pool and slide.

Maybe space the CIP application...2 months from his most recent Chase one.....if his credit limits are high on the other Chase cards you could reduce them to hopefully get instant approval.
I think URs can be transferred to Hyatt so they are more flexible that Hyatt points....if you went for 80,000 URs....then down the road the other business cards..CIC 50k URs and CIU..50k URs....you have 180,000 URs to play with

I think I'm gonna stick with the CIp first.... prob not a good idea to just jump on the Hyatt b/c of changes(???) The CIP ,CIC or CIU is the preferred choice to start next?

We’ve gotten akl under $300/night on their website before. I think we were two months out from our trip. We had originally booked through Disney but cancelled and booked through UT instead for that rate. They’re probably not as good as Priceline but you get to see which resort you’re getting

well P2 just got the SWA biz and personal within the past two months, so I was wondering how far out I need to space the next? The personal was most recent on 11/15.... the Hh is amex, so if it doesn't show yet, does that mean we get extra time to mess around with new apps? so it would be wise to do CIP next, since it's a biz, then the hyatt? again, time issue for me. I hear it's going away Jan9,which is why I'm debating what to do

Personally, I'd go with the CIP since it won't count against your x/24 and you can use the URs to stay at a Hyatt if you like, or someplace else. More options with those points.

I think theres a lot of value in the Hyatt card - especially since you get an extra free night with 15k spend. I was thinking of getting it for DH but I didn't realize the bonus was changing. I need to go look at that and decide whether to get his sooner rather than later. Was kinda hoping to wait till my first year was up so I could sync his with mine for free night purposes.

I can't even find the "ad" I saw that said the offer was ending soon. Which is weird - I'm spending far too much time on Hyatt's page trying to get it to show. Now I'm wondering what that means... I think I'm just going to wait and see what happens but then FOMO...

Need to max out my $100 dining credit on my new Amex gold. I take it I shouldn’t have a problem getting the credit for buying a gift card at a local Chinese restaurant if I’ve gotten the credit there for buying take out?

Yes-$500. I only got to $250. And that was doing a lot more ordering out/eating out than usual.

Yes. I could have, too, but some restaurants are giving out bonus GCs ($20 at the one I bought from, free cheesecake slices at CCF, etc.) with the purchase of a GC so I went ahead and bought the GCs anyway. I was quite happy when AMEX gave me an extra 20% off! I did do the GC purchase at our local restaurant, so I guess it just coded as dining.

I wouldn't like Staples being that far away. I grew up in very rural PA where the nearest grocery store was 45 mins away, the mall an hour. I like being here in central Ohio with everything close. There are at least 4 staples within 30 minutes either from my house or work. So easy to use those offers.
