My turn to vent about ebay. I was nice and provided a picture when he asked if there was damage to the book, there's a bit of miscolor on the last page. So he overs 6.50 when my starting bid is 9.99, umm no. So I decline without a message and he comes back with 7. Umm again no the min is 9.99. So I declined again with a message saying the min I will take is 9.99 and that I won't take an offer unless it's higher. There's less than 1k of these books and I realize it's a small audience for it I also am not stupid and know even with the small issue it's worth more than 10 bucks. He needs to bid or leave me alone.

It's been 3 months since my last Chase card so I'm ready for a new one! Right now I am eligible for either CF or CIU. I was planning on applying for the CIU 1st because.... more points! But with Christmas coming and Department Stores and Costco at 5x I'm wondering if I should apply for CF 1st then CIU in January. Any thoughts?

As long as you can meet the CIU MSR in January...I’d open the CF now for the 5x

15,000 UR after $500 spendings.
5x up to $1500.
After $1500 spendings u will recieve: 15000+7500 = 22500 UR pts.
1 year later, u would be able to get 30000(22500 remainder Q1-Q3) points per year if u max out.
1 year later #2, total of 45,000 UR pts, after spending $6000.
2 year later, 30,000 after after 6k spendings.

CIU
50,000 UR after $3000 spendings.
1.5x up to $1500.
After spending $3000, u will recieve: 50,000+4500 = 54,500 UR points.
1 year later, u probably sockdraw this card... total earned = 54,000 UR points(after $3k spendings)

long run, CF would probably be more profitable. short run, CIU.

Does anyone use a specific travel purse when they go places? I have one I bought 3 years ago that is reaching the end of its life. It was one of the specific travel ones that is very lightweight. That was important to me since I tend to load my bag up with an external battery, cheap ponchos, maps, pens, maybe a camera & extra battery, sunscreen, chapstick, bandaids... I limit myself to a smaller bag size because I know I will fill all available space.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else used a specific purse just for travel or if anyone has any recommendations I should check out. My last bag was Sherpani and it lasted through 6 WDW trips, 2 DLR trips, 2 weeks in Europe, and at least 4 weekends... I feel I got my money's worth for $25ish but now the straps are fraying.

I just ordered this one for Disney. Not sure how well it will hold up, but I thought for the price I would try it. They also have a small backpack.

So I just got a call from the local branch manager of the bank where I deposit my money orders...I didn't recognize the number so sent to voicemail. He would like to talk about some recent deposits into my account.

How much are you depositing? I saw a guy on reddit who was honest with what he was doing when he was questioned by his bank. I have been doing 20-40k at PNC every month. With no issues yet. I’m working on getting some more accounts tho. I heard PNC is picky but I haven’t had any bad experience yet.

No emails. I was thinking maybe it actually was working and I just couldn't see it, but I didn't realize I was supposed to be getting emails. So definitely not working. I tried tweeting out to them, but I am not a twitter user so not even sure if I did it right. lol And not sure how I would know if they responded.

Wowza! No offense to you, but how in the world is this not a red flag to a bank to deposit that many money orders every month??

I know adding an AU can garner more points, and I know I shouldn't add myself. I'm not clear on adding a phantom. Do they ask for a SS#?

I downloaded the gyft app to get the 5% using the CIC linked to PayPal, but it hasn't worked for me yet. Everytime I try to buy a card it says "there was a problem connecting to Paypal's servers try again." It did this a week ago and now I just tried again, same thing.
When I went to the website to do it, my transaction was denied.
Any ideas?
