Minnie Van from Disney Springs for rope drop

Can you walk to the Minnie Van pickup area at Disney Springs from offsite hotels before Disney Springs security opens (which I think is around 9am)? Wondering if it’s a viable option for rope dropping. Thanks!

The Minnie Van pick up is outside security. I think the question is will Minnie Vans pickup from Springs well before it’s open. To make rope drop in most parks you need to be there 30-60 minutes before official park opening. Let’s say park opens at 9, you need to be there between 8-8:30. Allow 15 - 20 minutes for the ride. And at least 10 minutes after requesting for the van to get there. That puts the OP at requesting a Minnie Van to DS at about 7:30 am. It seems unlikely, but I really have no idea if they would allow a pick up at that time.

Add in the time you need to walk there from your hotel. Seriously, save yourself time & half the money. Take a ride share from your hotel, allow time to arrive at the park of your choice about an hour before park opening & you’ll be fine.

I assume OP is trying to get to Magic Kingdom, because if OP is trying to get anywhere else they can just do regular Uber/Lyft.

If you try to get a Minnie Van early in the morning, you might have a long wait. There is a limited number of vehicles. If you give up on Minnie Van and try a regular Uber/Lyft on your Magic Kingdom day, it will have to drop you off at Transportation & Ticket Center. You might as well have done Uber/Lyft directly from your hotel rather than walked over to Disney Springs.

I'm assuming the OP is looking to avoid the TTC.

Transportation between TTC and the MK is about 20 minutes. The internet greatly exaggerates TTC issues.
