CSR to buy a new cell phone right? Does it matter where I buy it, att, best buy, Amazon?

wouldnt suggest sapphire for new cellphone for price protection(ends Aug 26). CIP if u have one would be better. CIC should code 5x at att/verizon(someone confirm?)
guess it depends on what your looking for.

@Lain Are there no Amazon GC's on gyft? Any place to buy those and get CIC 5x?

without the 10% back on SPG biz, i would do CIC with Office depot, combine it with ebates. i buy $160 at a time to maximize ebates(3% limited to $5).

Oh, forgot about the Lowes 10% lol. I do have that on spg biz and delta biz. I needed to purchase quickly so I was looking at something I could do from home but I need to go by Lowes to pick up some Amazon.

Can you order Amazon from Office Depot or Staples online? Even if they have to be shipped?

i recall they dont sell them online. i just checked and i dont think u can... unless im missing something.

I'm close to Louisville. Yeah, I usually use Costco or KS for gas too. We saved $29 on gas last night on our two cars at $1off/gal. I still have one more $1off/gal and a $.90off/gal for this month -- I kind of went nuts at the end of June as I was trying to get all the grocery category bonuses on CF and Discover, and now I have Hotels.com gift cards (because of the 4x fuel points on travel gift cards) coming out my ears. And I learned that the most you can have on a reloadable KS gc is $1000. I hope to not have such a high balance on that gift card again, but when both CF and Discover are 5x at grocery stores I can't help myself!
I was planning to go get the last $450 on our Discovers in Visas for 4x fuel points... that would have given me something like 3400 points. But Saturday got a little crazy, and grandpa was visiting, and grandpa is more important than my last $22 in cash back

I know!! I don't think anyone would know who I was if I changed my avatar! I'd get a lot of :welcome: messages. :rotfl2:
Ha! I never knew what your avatar was, I see it now!
We loved cabana bay! Had an amazing week there last August. We liked Pop too but our room was so noisy (from the pool) it was kind of miserable. Probably an issue at any Disney value—especially in the summer when people are in the pool late.
I'm excited to see Cabana Bay. Both it and the Disney value are just for one night with a late arrival, so not a ton of time but that's okay. Pop we'll be moving to the Dolphin so it doesn't matter too much. We usually end up at the parks all day.
Having no experience with the All Stars and only staying at Pop once in my life... I vote for Pop :)
I love the giant Lady and the Tramp icons. Is it bad that's a big reason I want to go back? :rotfl:

Not looking for price protection. Thought CSR had insurance for cell if you bought it with the card. If not I'll use my cfu. Only biz I have is amex delta.

Most likely go the best buy route, need the phone today. If no ins may just go gc route for at least part of it. Only 2x fuel rewards but better than nothing.

I want to say thanks again to everyone who's helped me get started here. When I was looking up CCs I was surprised when my search led me to this thread on the disboards, esp. since it's the one BB on which I was already posting regularly. I love how Disney brings people together. :goodvibes

Not sure if this will help anyone, but I want to pay what little I have forward here. I know someone was asking about how long certain cards took to arrive...

DH signed up for the Chase double dip CSR/CSP early Thursday evening. CSR arrived on Monday. CSP was just mailed out today (so we will have to wait a while for that one I guess).

In other news, we checked and DD's college doesn't accept CCs. I wasn't surprised by that one.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed, but I didn't see it so I thought I'd ask. I was looking on the Chase UR portal for Disney resorts and could only see listings for Swan, Dolphin and the off property hotels. I tried several dates and no Disney resorts. I Googled it, and one website, https://www.mousehacking.com/blog/chase-ultimate-rewards-program-guide said this:

**UPDATE** As of July 2018 this method of booking Disney hotels with points is no longer working. We are trying to determine whether this is a temporary or permanent change.

Does anyone know anything about it?

Have not tired it but I like how they say the web portal is the only way to book... I'd be interested to hear if you can still book via calling the cruise dept.

Edit; I think when I did it last searching for Disney returned nothing, I had to search Bay Lake then filter by keyword for the hotel name. Is that not working?

I used Lake Buena Vista as the location and Disney for the hotel name filter.

I modified a reservation at WDW from CBR to CSR three days ago. No issues. I was not using UR, but there certainly wasn’t any indication that it was going away.

I was just able to pull up Poly for November just doing a dummy booking. I've always used Orlando, FL for location, then typed Disney's in the search box to filter to only show Disney hotels.

ETA - Just tried searching for March 2019 availability and when I typed in Disney's it shows nothing available. Well dang!

That was me :) Thank you! I just requested expedited delivery, 1-2 business days.

Glad I could help. If we would have realized just how long they would take we would have asked to have ours expedited as well. Need to get working on that MS and I hate the wait!

Hmmm, when I booked just our tickets with Urs yesterday the girl asked if I wanted a room or package, and said if I ever did for a future trip they could book it.
