that's what I'm talking about! I like this idea...now to figure out if I qualify for this card..... it's a separate product from the BCP right?
I doubt a premium card would be much benefit. We’re a family of 3 and travel a couple times a year. Was hoping to boost URs with a new card but looks like that’s a bust. Also want to use URs for cruise excursions so I’m not sure I’ll be able to accrue enough for a flight. Ugh.I think your best bet is going for CP in 2020 with the potential double dip method or the biz/personal method.
I’d definitely prioritize that in my planning if it is something you want.
So for 2019 just transfer UR to sw. My CP ran out in dec and I was going to skip this year and get it again for 2019. So I understand totally your frustration. But since that was my plan, I have been focusing on URs and transferring to SW as I need them. The nice thing about it is I can consider other airlines this way. I have not used another one, but the possibility is there in case I find a better deal or sw doesn’t fly to a certain destination I need. Also, it is easier to accrue UR to transfer to sW than to accrue SW points because of the various cards earning 2x and 3x points, where SW only earned 1x.
Plus, there is always hope the new sw premium card might be awesome. I’d love if it offered a similar program to alaska’s CP thing. Or even a $500/fee and get their CP. I’d do that in a heartbeat! When flying 6 people, anything helps!
I sent a SM to Chase asking to PC my CSP to a Freedom Unlimited. They said it isn't eligible.
Any advice?
I looked and the card was opened last April with the first charges on 4/26/17. I don't want to pay the $95 fee for this year.
With AMEX once per lifetime bonuses I’d try a few more times to get the incognito offer before going for the support offer.Ok I checked out the thread...tell me about this card please...... how do you 'easily' get the 20 swipes for 20% bonus? I'm curious (I checked incognito, only pulled a 10k offer for me) so if I did apply I'd use a referral- I wonder if they'd give it to me considering I already have the BCP card.....
One of ours was expiring in March. I called Marriott in Feb and they extended it immediately for a year - no questions asked.I have a Marriott certificate to use which expires 3/7/19. We will be in Orlando 3/23-3/30. Any chance I could use this cert or are they strict on expiration date. I can’t find any other use.

I can’t recall your stats - are you over 5/24?
I have this card and have also had the Everyday Preferred - they are both nice cards to earn some MRs. The 20 transactions is pretty easy - my wife would just split her grocery shopping into 2-3 transactions each week. She usually goes to 2 stores so it was no issue to get 20 swipes.
Once it’s been a year you should be fine to PC it. I’d just wait a couple weeks and try againI sent a SM to Chase asking to PC my CSP to a Freedom Unlimited. They said it isn't eligible.

Another popular trick is to do $0.50 Amazon reloads.
I’m not referencing any sort of card categories. You can earn a bonus one time on every card with AMEX (so you can earn a bonus on BCE, BCP, ED, EDP, etc - all of them).Isn't the once per lifetime bonus rulefor cards in the same category? The BCP and Everyday cards earn rewards in different categories - no?

However, If you sign up for a 15k offer on a card that offers 25k via incognito, you have left 10k MRs on the table and can never sign up for that card again, that’s all. You always want to hit the highest offer of possible with AMEX.
DOC got his Amazon account shut down temporarily for that. I think he did like 11 at .50 all the same day. I alternate my amounts, $1.09, $1.37 etc. and do about 3 - 5 a day. I do the same thing for the the 10 debit card transactions for bank bonuses when required as part of the bonus or to avoid the fee.
HAHA - I actually don’t drink coffee. But I am sitting here at the church piano about to start playing the prelude for the service@SouthFayetteFan Can always tell once someone finishes their morning coffee.![]()

Yeah, I was thinking I should probably amend my earlier post to say alternate amounts and dates of reload, and mix in organic spend if possible. If someone did, say, even 3 or 4 $0.50 Amazon reloads consecutively, it would at the very least likely trip fraud alerts.

IF you hang around this thread long enough we will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.![]()
